Saint in Paradise Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 (edited) As it has been Christmas Day for over 8 hours here I have just opened some presents but now I need advice from you good folks. When she was in the UK earlier this year my wife visited some old friends of hers. I have never met them but they have very kindly sent me a Christmas present - all good SO FAR. However when opening said pressie I found a wallet, which I do really need, snag is the wallet has Portsmouth FC stamped on it as my wife forgot to say I love Saints and they just assumed I supported PFC as we used to live in Gosport ARRGGHH. Now 1. Do I use it and cover up the PFC bit with red tape ? 2. Can I trust it with my money or will the money just disappear into a black hole like what happens at PFC ? 3. Shall I throw it away ? 4. Shall I keep it unused so it becomes a collectors item when they are liquidated ? I have of course washed my hands before using this keyboard but I will be unable to wash my hands after every use of this wallet IF I keep it of course. Spudders Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Microwave it. And video it for us to enjoy. We have a winning suggestion straight off!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Have you ever wondered if the money in your wallet was ever in a stripper's butt crack?
Spudders Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 I just carry coins Glasgow, but I do wonder the same thing about them
andysstuff Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 If you put a tenner in it, you'll only get 4p back out.
dronskisaint Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 If you put a tenner in it, you'll only get 4p back out.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Remove any metal bits and give it to the dog as a chewstick.
CB Saint Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Option 3 Cannot believe you are asking us! Oh, and disown the friends, and the wife for bringing it back. Burn everything it's touched, acid bath your hands and declare a three mile exclusion zone around it.
SO16_Saint Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Soft enough for wiping your a*se? I read that as whipping his a*se
Spudders Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Send it to the PST, they can use it to keep the pledge money in!
SO16_Saint Posted 24 December, 2012 Posted 24 December, 2012 Send it to the PST, they can use it to keep the pledge money in! But the op didn't mention that the wallet had a coin compartment.

In the old days when I use dto collect stamps I steamed them off with a kettle - could you not do this with the Poopey stamp?
Saint in Paradise Posted 24 December, 2012 Author Posted 24 December, 2012 Alas no it isn't like a postage stamp it is stamped into the wallet itself. Loved the replies but can't afford to disown the wife and didn't look closely enough to see if it had a coin compartment. I do have a Saints badge that I could super-glue to the wallet though
PhilippineSaint Posted 25 December, 2012 Posted 25 December, 2012 There is a way out of this Did it come with any money inside it ? If not send it back to the person who gave it to you saying it is very bad luck to accept an empty wallet as it will always be empty but they could still use it. If it did have money in it remove the money as is standard PFC practice and lose the wallet in the pub accidently on purpose.
