Window Cleaner Posted 24 December, 2012 Share Posted 24 December, 2012 It's Mystic Philly here, get the crystal balls out folks, where will we be this time next year? I think I shall reserve my forecast for 1 week. Our season will be made or broken in the next 6 days.

By the end of the transfer window we'll have a clearer picture. I'm going for twelth in twelve months time.

austsaint Posted 24 December, 2012 Share Posted 24 December, 2012 Optimistically, we stay up this season after a nail biting second half of games and then follow a Stoke/West Brom. model - improve, at least a little - each following year.
Give it to Ron Posted 24 December, 2012 Share Posted 24 December, 2012 17th in the Championship of course
Ashby Saint Posted 24 December, 2012 Share Posted 24 December, 2012 Notwithstanding that we sign a dream line-up by the end of the transfer window, I see us in the Championship Top 3 next Christmas. The core of the players will have remained from our nail-biting last day relegation from the Premiership and Nigel will still be in charge. We will probably have lost Lambert, Cork, and Ramirez in the Summer but held on to Lallana and Shaw. Jay-Rod will be scoring for fun with Billy Sharp back from his Forest loan chipping in with a few. There will be much talk about the creativity of Lallana and Mayuka, and continued interest from the Big 4 in Luke Shaw.

SaintAndy14 Posted 24 December, 2012 Share Posted 24 December, 2012 If we stay up - mid-table Premier League. If we go down - mid-table Championship.

Dalek will once again have been proven right but some posters will be reluctant to credit him in predicting this and will be frantically re-writing and airbrushing history. The 2004 debacle will be finally revealed in Lowe's autobiography and that it was the vocal minority that led to a chain of disasters leading to our relegation and demise to league 1. Dalek will be credited for his tenacity in this subject area but the guilty minority cannot be found.
