Don't Sing in the Northam

Fact is the majority often aren't interested in getting behind the lads.

They're probably the same embarrassing types who used to sing 'your support is f*cking sh*t' to the likes of Carlisle fans who had made a 12 hour trip.

Obviously....people who pay in excess of £35 a ticket have no interest in supporting the club and players......

They weren't telling them to stop singing, they were telling them to stop abusing others that weren't singing. Singing is never an issue... when they start calling people c*nts for not singing, repeatedly week in week out it gets a bit much. They needed knocking down a peg or two!

You mean they were singing and encouraging others to do the same? That's outrageous. I'm pleased there were some decent types in the Northam who were prepared to restore the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. We wouldn't want any atmosphere in our self-professed vocal stand.

Mewsta, I'm one of the group I think we are talking about. I do like to try and get the atmosphere going and I admit I can get pretty frustrated on days like Saturday where the whole of block 42 leave us singing by ourselves. Any attempt to get people going is only borne out of passion for the team, and I didn't hear anybody call anybody else a **** (not till that argument kicked off anyway and certainly not "week in week out").

That said, can't speak for the others but I will keep singing but try to tone down the frustration when nobody else in the stand fancies it, as it's clearly not helping.

I don't think anyone in the northam has an issue with ppl trying to get a song going. You do get a couple of mongs tho that insist on screaming the word c**t every two seconds, like they've just discovered swearing for the first time.
