Turkish Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 A term we invented last season and was used as a reason not to play some players. Nige said we were refreshed and Invigorated and enjoyed our two week break? So why were we second to every ball today and why we're Sunderland fitter, stronger and first to every ball? I also noticed that half way into the Norwich game some players were struggling and needed to be taken off. So is Saints fit not what we thought it was Or have we underestimated how fit Thr Premeir league players are?
Thedelldays Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 the premier league is not like the top of the NPC and we wont finish above stoke...simple as that really....
Turkish Posted 22 December, 2012 Author Posted 22 December, 2012 the premier league is not like the top of the NPC and we wont finish above stoke...simple as that really.... The bottom half of the premier league is no better than The top half of The championship. Mongboard FACT
Dr Who? Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 Score first, we need to come out, even more so at home, and score first, and we will 9/10 times get something from the game. Go behind and Villa aside we find it hard going. This goes for most teams at the bottom of any league. The confidence you get from scoring first, and score at all in a game gives you huge belief. Go behind and we will 9/10 times get nothing out of the game.

Restark19 Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 You should have read this forum in July!! I came on just to browse every so often over the last year before signing up and i noticed how clueless some posters are. Was definitely a lot of naivety about the PL
Turkish Posted 22 December, 2012 Author Posted 22 December, 2012 I came on just to browse every so often over the last year before signing up and i noticed how clueless some posters are Surely you aren't referring to the ones who claim how easy it will be for us to make the champions league?!!
Restark19 Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 Surely you aren't referring to the ones who claim how easy it will be for us to make the champions league?!! No that's a perfectly reasonable claim.. As you can see by our comfortable position sitting only 15 points off the CL places
wessex saint Posted 22 December, 2012 Posted 22 December, 2012 When people say this I feel the need to bash their skull in with a blunt object. It's not nor has it ever been true Unfortunately there is apparently no room for opinion anymore on this board. FWIW, I agree with you - a mountain of difference but don't let that get in the way of the Turkish way. After you Turkey...

FWIW, I agree with you - a mountain of difference but don't let that get in the way of the Turkish way. After you Turkey... Is a very clear question to provoke discussion. You've fsiled to given a view and just made a dig at me. Unfortunatly people like you can't see beyond their agendas to engage in these debates and blame others for ruining the forum.
david in sweden Posted 25 December, 2012 Posted 25 December, 2012 The bottom half of the premier league is no better than The top half of The championship. Mongboard FACT ......well...maybe the bottom 6 anyway.
Leicestersaint Posted 25 December, 2012 Posted 25 December, 2012 I am sorry to say that I don't think Saints are generally that fit - where is the intensity we used to have? Against Sunderland we looked lethargic and tired. I think we were fitter when Strachan was in charge.
