Internet Dating

Hi gays

A friend from college recently told me that he'd found a girlfriend online. This interested me because I thought this friend was pretty much undateable due to his political views and frankly objectional views on women. Fit apparently (I only have his word on that though), but that he actually found someone who accepted and even shared his views really amazed me. It just goes to show that literally anyone can play the women game.

I think of myself as too proud to do internet dating and just bumble round aimlessly talking to girls I like the look of only to find out that they already have boyfriends. Is the internet the domain of the last resorters or are there lots of normal people on there too?

Does anyone here have any good stories?

I met my other half on plenty of fish. We've been together nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier. I was sceptical of the whole internet dating thing at first, but I'm glad I did it. There are some seriously shallow people on there though, and some proper pervs, but that's only to be expected I suppose. Anyway, it worked for me but I can understand it isn't everyones cup of tea.

Met my current partner of 7 years on the internet. Met a few bunny boilers but a lot of nice people too. Like anything you get good and bad, just have to be careful. The stigma has long gone and it is one the most popular ways of meeting new people there is now. It just means you can fish in a bigger pond!

have a mate which was my 'pulling' buddy back in the day who is still single and he is ****gin tons of muffin off these internet sites.

jealous in a 'im stuck in a 10 year relationship' type of way with regards to the amount of fanny he is getting...he isnt even attractive and i was more successful in the old skool style of pulling birds in nightclubs back in the 90s..

just had a quick brown of a couple of sites, looks like many ads are fakes and the rest are munters though.

I met my wife in 2005 on the BBC 606 site. (Now defunct, don't blame me.) It was pretty random, but apparently we're not the only couple that met on that site. The only trouble is I'm now married to a Norwich fan, just my luck I couldn't have met a Saint. :-(

Some lads at work who are single are on plenty of fish. They keep each other in the loop on what birds put out or potentially put out.

They have been through an incredible amount between them.

Also, a night out in Plymouth is funny as they will point out loads of birds on in a bar who are on there

One thing Internet dating did was open anyone's eyes that women are far from innocent beings like many portray!

You must do alright for birds Jamie. You wear a uniform for work and you can cook, I thought women would love that.

Met my wife on the same site, but told her the real name of the site was dodgygezzer.com

Surely she would have had to type in the name of the website to reach the actual site? Did she believe you when you told her that the site was actually called something other than what she had typed in? And what's a "gezzer"? Is this whole site dedicated to matching up the mentally subnormal?
