Android Tablet/Flash Player

I have a tablet running the Android ICS operating system. I used to watch a lot of stuff on Channel 4's 4OD catch up service, but since Flash Player disappeared from the Google Play store, 4OD hasn't worked. The thing I don't get is that I already have Flash installed on my tablet, so why won't 4OD work anymore? From what I can gather, although Adobe have withdrawn support for Flash, existing versions should still function. Does anyone know of a workaround that will enable me to watch 4OD on my tablet?

Are you using Chrome on your tablet? Download the Firefox beta from the Google play store, it still supports flash.

Anyone else getting problems now with sites not working as you don't have the latest flash version? Barely a site I can get to work now.
