Pointless Early 2013/14 Kit Speculation Thread

I don't see why. What's the definition of a training top?

But as I say, if the white was a bit narrower with a bit more detail (such as the black piping) where the red meets the middle white part and it would be perfect, for me anyway.

I'd say a training top would be a predominantly plain shirt, usually in one of the main club colours which doesn't look like a match shirt due to being too generic and looking like little care had gone into the design, with the brand and the club badge on it (but not necessarily the match day shirt sponsor).

E.g. our last black away shirt. No sponsor, plain, with two shades of black and red collar, that's it.

Are we deinitely getting Adidas? Or is it still just a rumour?

Enough people from enough different sources have hinted at it for me to believe it, but it's not confirmed yet. We've had a couple of people say they know someone at adidas with some supporting information, there's someone saying they know the final decision hasn't yet been made for design but it is adidas, another rumour about adidas jointly branding the megastore(s), and one or two others.

Fair enough. I don't mind adidas; they're a bit samey from club to club but otherwise "OK". Might do some decent training gear too.

Posted it on the last page - judging by the adidas "prints" they're using this season (see Montreal red home kit and Sporting Kansas "tennis" shirt for example) they could print a sash on any of their templates. I'd rather we left the sash in the past for a bit and wore predominantly stripes for a few seasons.

Agree , but rather the sash than the all red departure from our history we've had this season.

Would you like to elaborate ? Is it just widely known within the club but people aren't allowed to say, is this a specific conversation you've had with someone involved in the kit decision or stock or whatever, are there changes in place behind the scenes, etc ?

I would be very surprised if the design wasn't signed off months ago, so somebody within the club/adidas/marketing will have seen it and know for sure! I work for a marketing agency and we are working on the launch of AFC Bournemouth's new kits, and we saw them for the first time 2 months ago.

I said that on this thread and someone said we haven't signed it off yet... so if that's the case don't expect to see them before August!

Javi??

Harsh. Similar heights, very different footballing ability. i.e. Javi is the worst "footballer" I've ever seen, though to be fair, he doesn't claim to be a footballer (just an agent or similar).

nowt to do with Saints, but we can pray we don't do a similar video for our kit launch.

Shouldn't those Norwich kids be watching REAL football in League 2 rather than being brainwashed into thinking football is a TV show....?

New away Stoke shirt here, no surprises and same style as numerous already seen - though the monochrome team badge might get people excited...

Well if we do get Adidas now, you can bet your bottom dollar that one of our away kits (if there's more than one) will have a silver logo. And it'll look **** hot. All in my opinion of course.

Why are our kits never leaked?

Last year's was leaked, just not to the internet. Other than that, I assume it's because either people in sweatshops don't know what they are, or that no-one cares.

I've seen the West Ham kit somewhere a few days ago on another forum

I've seen a fake Adidas Villa kit and a load of fakes and mock ups of the West Ham one, but nothing credible.

Anyone can feel free to post a link if they see any legit leaks not already here.
