Yes, they quite obviously do. Are you here to tell us that everyone shouldn't really be bothered again?

that is your trick isnt it? telling people not to get so 'upity' on a message board

I was just asking as it seems many new kits are "horrible" to a few here?

I may be wrong, just an impression given when scanning this thread

Not every one is going to like the same kits are they...?

No; there was a just a previous poster on here who regularly arrived on posts telling people they shouldn't be worried about things that he, well, wasn't worried about. I sensed your post was running along the same lines.

And of course some new kits are "horrible". The Cardiff one is disgusting; so is the Boro one. The West Ham one IMO is very nice, as are a lot of the templates.

Its called having an opinion and expressing it. Kind of what message boards are for, really.

personally, I think a good design would be something like the west ham away shirt (with the white pin stripes. which, are still stripes) with the white adidas stripes down the shoulders.

Good for you. Personally, I would find that almost exactly the same as our current kit, and therefore pretty sh*t.

There we go. Opinions.

Would be open to halves, it's been in our history before and it's different.

why do you ask? Just a thought or heard a rumour?

just a thought, was looking at historical kits and saw that, thought it'd be a decent kit to bring back

Just me that thinks the white shirt/blue shorts looks dreadful on the whu kit?

Home is nice though.

Yeah, they've only done that to use the light blue as an alternate to the white home shorts and socks, they'll probably play in all white most of the time where they can.

Strange that, I remember another pinstripe apologist last season trying to claim "it was stripes", can't remember who it was... anyone ?

Pinstripes are not stripes, Liverpool have never played in red and white stripes.

I'm not entirely against a halved kit or a sash kit every other year, I could even put up with the odd all red shirt, provided we wear stripes more often than not. This is frankly a significant climb-down on my part, but I was thinking about Lens kits the other day, and they've worn pretty much every combination of "sang et or" in the last 10 years - the difference being that "blood and gold" is a fairly unique colour scheme which is distinctive in itself, red and white is already the most popular colour combination in use, which is why a particular style or pattern is needed to provide the identity.

As it is we're either Sunderland or Liverpool, at least Stoke are white shorts and socks. The halves would be unique, just as the sash is, both set in history and if we ARE going to "rebrand" away from stripes, those would be my preferences.

Feyenoord 12/13 kit. I know it's Puma and we're going adidas but imagine this with aap3 and the saints badge, so much better than what we have at the moment

Could use the same template as Basle (haven't seen their 2013/14 yet).

Not so keen on this Rapid Vienna template though (same as the West Ham away minus the pinstripes and underarm contrast), it needs contrast sleeves on both sides and that advert makes the aap3 and umbro flybe look subtle. The back must be plain green as well judging by the side panel colours :

@danbsfc: @adidasUK Hi, any timescale on Saints kit reveal? Next couple of weeks? Late June?

@adidasUK: @danbsfc We'll have a date for you in June!

Interesting.

I've got an outside chance of being able to get my shirt and wear it on Holiday in July this year then.

Personally I would prefer halves (similar to the Rapid Vienna template above)/quarters to all red/red with white pinstripes...but I have a nasty feeling this kit will be VERY red with a tiny amount of white.

Thedelldays said it last season.

Halves or quarters would be a great improvement on this season.

Feyenoord kit looks a classic design:

Red & white in the above would be an improvement over this season.

No sorry, this below is dreadful, even Cardiff only managed to mismatch the reds between shirt and shorts, not on the same item:

Had a little play and devised this. Quite like it actually!

Good mock up by the way, not criticising your ability on that.
