We haven't turned a corner. We have been travelling on a more favourable gradient.

I expect us to bob in and out of the botttom three all season, just hope we are above the bottom three at the end.

Agree with this but would add the central pairing of Jose and Yoshida after the unsteady back four of early season. But we still need a new top quality CB. Jack Stephens might be ready to step up by next year but not yet so just having Hooiveld as standby is a big risk.

The downside of playing the top sides early was the poor results but the upside was the steep learning curve against the the very best which we are now benefiting from when playing sides that are not in that class.
