Jack Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 Frederici having a decent game TBF. Shocking by Arsenal to give 2 away like that.
melmacian_saint Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 "Literacy levels must be up in England, no-one seems to have trouble with Reading." Friend retweet. I laughed. It won't happen. With QPR's improvement under Arry, Reading will be the bottom club.

stevegrant Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 Theo. Great goal. Looks so much better in the middle...obviously Not sure you can necessarily take tonight's performance in isolation given the absolute car crash of an opposition.
Appy Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 Good chant from Arsenal. Eluding to their win in the Capital One Cup. "How **** must you be? Chamakh scored 2.

Faz Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 Just watching Gary Nev's destruction of Reading, and comparing it to his rather benign analysis of our defending against Arsenal earlier In the seasonseason. Essentially our defence was properly set up, with people in the right places, being outdone by brilliance or bad luck (slipping). Reading are a train wreck.

A pretty damning assessment of 4-4-2 as well. Cortese's a tactical whiz. Edited 17 December, 2012 by shurlock
Lighthouse Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 That's one relegation place sorted! Just the one relegation place to avoid then... Yes. That's not going to come back and bite you on the arse. Nope... definitely not.
ooh it's a corner Posted 17 December, 2012 Posted 17 December, 2012 £5 on Cazorla anytime and an Arsenal win at 4/1 £5 on Walcott anytime at 7/4 £5 on over 3.5 goals at 13/8 Tidy £50 on a hatrick to be scored 15-1. very happy days.....

stevegrant Posted 18 December, 2012 Posted 18 December, 2012 A pretty damning assessment of 4-4-2 as well. To be fair, Neville's point was that 4-4-2 as a weaker side against a team that keeps possession as well as Arsenal is absolute suicide, not that the formation itself isn't suitable under certain circumstances. We've utilised it a few times this season with varying results.
