AK Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Any ST holder will be able to get a ticket IMO! Im sure you're correct, fingers crossed!
AK Posted 7 February, 2013 Posted 7 February, 2013 For those going by train confirmation of The Bus Replacement Service. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20130207/train-news-for-saints-and-stoke-games_2281670_3067807
Dr Who? Posted 9 February, 2013 Posted 9 February, 2013 Would not say that they are flying, but they have won their last 2.
JoeShmoe Posted 10 February, 2013 Posted 10 February, 2013 Might have to go but sit in the home end, got mates who are ST holders there who aren't going
This Charming Man Posted 10 February, 2013 Posted 10 February, 2013 Might have to go but sit in the home end, got mates who are ST holders there who aren't going I don't understand how that affects you buying a ticket in the away end?
AK Posted 11 February, 2013 Posted 11 February, 2013 Bought my two this morning, although I have one Adult ST and two Junior ST's and they wouldnt let me buy 2 adult tickets, had to use a friends customer number who isnt going.

AK Posted 11 February, 2013 Posted 11 February, 2013 Presume that was at the ticket office itself? Yep.Forgot to ask how sales were going though.
Miltonroader07 Posted 12 February, 2013 Posted 12 February, 2013 Bristol looks a great shout. Seen train for £15 return to Bristol and flight is £48 from Bristol to Newcastle return. Times fit aswell... Assuming it would be a Sunday game. Doint forget that the airport is miles from Temple Meads Station, very pricey in a taxi and a crap bus service
LGTL Posted 12 February, 2013 Posted 12 February, 2013 Doint forget that the airport is miles from Temple Meads Station, very pricey in a taxi and a crap bus service The bus service is OK. £6 and it's pretty much direct from the station, Only takes about 20-25 minutes.
Footballfan Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 I am sure the train service was good when I used it a few years ago.
Elias Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 anyone know how many sold so far? Looks likely it'll go to general sale. Think we've sold between 1000 and 1500 now given they were selling block K yesterday (one of the middle blocks in the away allocation).

GS Im sure the ticket office will tell you how many are sold if you phone them , but I cant imagine they wont make general sale tomorrow.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 February, 2013 Posted 15 February, 2013 Logged on at 8:30 and get the message "You have already purchased the max amount of tickets" very annoying as ive not purchase any!!!
Elias Posted 15 February, 2013 Posted 15 February, 2013 Logged on at 8:30 and get the message "You have already purchased the max amount of tickets" very annoying as ive not purchase any!!! Maybe it won't let you buy until 9?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 February, 2013 Posted 15 February, 2013 Maybe it won't let you buy until 9? Yep they had website problems - called them and they resolved so purchased my tickets Guy said there is loads left
Elias Posted 15 February, 2013 Posted 15 February, 2013 Yep they had website problems - called them and they resolved so purchased my tickets Guy said there is loads left I'm surprised we haven't sold them quicker really. It's probably the best away day outside London. I'd be a bit disappointed if we didn't take 2000.
This Charming Man Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 We have sold out now. Anyone know how many tickets we were allocated?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 We have sold out now. Anyone know how many tickets we were allocated? good times 2,000 i think?
Griffo Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 2,000 to Newcastle, on a Sunday with an early kick off.. This isn't the Saints I know.
Sour Mash Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 Don't think they've ever announced what our allocation actually is. It's another example of the stupid way clubs allocate tickets, as I don't think Newcastle are close to selling out.

It's another example of the stupid way clubs allocate tickets, as I don't think Newcastle are close to selling out. It's crazy, I guess Newcastle will have said something like the usaul 'if you want the next batch it's a minimum x-amount of tickets paid for up front non-returnable' and Saints, who wont make any significant money out of an away fixture will say 'thanks but no thanks'. With a week before the game still there's little doubt we could have sold more but it's ultimately the Geordies missing out on the extra revenue if this is the case.

Yeah thats what I mean, stupid way of doing things, but a lot of clubs seem to do it. Just another way of pushing away support out of the game altogether.
This Charming Man Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 We have 4 blocks according to their site, so whatever that equals.
saints_is_the_south Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 We have 4 blocks according to their site, so whatever that equals. Went on a tour of St James' when we were staying up north for the United/Wigan games, the tour guide said full allocation for away fans is 5 blocks (Reading had just been and had only 1 block, lol). So based on full allocation being 3,000 we'll have about 2,600 with 4 blocks taken.

This Charming Man Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 Yeah, 2,400 sorry. Say take a couple of hundred out for segregation and that's still bloody impressive from us. About time our support started travelling north of Birmingham.
Elias Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 Say take a couple of hundred out for segregation and that's still bloody impressive from us. About time our support started travelling north of Birmingham. It seems like dropping to League 1 reinvigorated our away support. It's rare we don't take good numbers anywhere these days.
CFSFC Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 If this is correct that's one hell of a following probably incorrect though
Elias Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 If this is correct that's one hell of a following probably incorrect though It'll be at least 1800, and that's impressive enough.

Joe Kirkup Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 Gutted this has sold out. Although a s/t holder I was waiting to find out if I was being offered a job ( 12 months without one )this week, which I have. Would be grateful for a spare if anyone has one?
shurlock Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 (edited) Gutted this has sold out. Although a s/t holder I was waiting to find out if I was being offered a job ( 12 months without one )this week, which I have. Would be grateful for a spare if anyone has one? Congratulations on the job (been in a similar situation) I might have a spare one (my teeth are playing up and am on a ton of antibiotics, so it's touch and go whether I'll make it. A group is taking the ticket up). I'll have a clearer idea on Thursday/Friday, so PM me then. But if another one comes up in the meantime, take that. Edited 19 February, 2013 by shurlock
AK Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 My first trip to St James Park- What pub will the majority of Saints fans be heading to pre-match?
This Charming Man Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 Like the 4,000 we took to Wigan? It was 3,100 and hence why I said "about time".
This Charming Man Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 My first trip to St James Park- What pub will the majority of Saints fans be heading to pre-match? The stadium is in the town centre so you have a huge amount of pubs to choose from.
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 The stadium is in the town centre so you have a huge amount of pubs to choose from. Except The Strawberry.
stevegrant Posted 19 February, 2013 Posted 19 February, 2013 Except The Strawberry. It's been renamed recently:
This Charming Man Posted 21 February, 2013 Posted 21 February, 2013 1664 is the allocation, apparently Where did you hear that? Can't blame the club for only taking that. I would've guessed we would've had roughly that there.
