saint_stevo Posted 22 November, 2008 Share Posted 22 November, 2008 Was involved in one tonight, was a classic, actually there was about 5 kicking off, only had any real involvement in 1 or 2 of em though. We had chairs flying, bottles hitting the walls, hair pulling (one b:tch fight, turned me on a bit, saw a nipple in there to boot) shirt ripping and death threats, made me lol. Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Share Posted 23 November, 2008 No, no word of lie today Denzil. I dont' drink in Romsey much these days due to living in Southampton. I've been known to have a few pints in there, though, certainly. Not that sold on it or te olive tree to be honest, but a drinks a drink.

StuRomseySaint Posted 23 November, 2008 Share Posted 23 November, 2008 I had a fight once with the old Landlord of the Luzborough house which turned into a massive brawl, serious enough for the police to shut the pub down for a '24 hour calling off period' , the first pub in Hampshire to have such a thing imposed. Go me.

Yes, he had his car torched on numerous occasions and taken a few kickings. Me, Denzil and a few others were at his 'leaving party' and playing a game called. 'How far can you kick a pint glass into the car park' and 'smash as many things as possibleathon' , the landlord took exception to this game, which is what kicked it all off. First pub imposed with a closure order in Hampshire though, certainly one of my proud moments in life.

Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Share Posted 23 November, 2008 I haven't been in there for a while, but the last time I went in it seemed they'd tried to make it a bit like a hotel bar. They served hot chocolate etc. made me feel odd.

Mao Cap Posted 24 November, 2008 Share Posted 24 November, 2008 Must have been a full moon or something last night. I was out in Brighton and there were tons of fights happening in the club I was in. All but a couple were girl fights as well, which was quite surreal and funny. Even docile old me squared up to this Italian (I think) c*nt who tried to barge through the entire queue for the cloakroom. NO-ONE f*cking jumps a queue of English people, I think I said. He went to the back of the line, Christ knows why as he could've wiped the floor with me, lol.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 24 November, 2008 Share Posted 24 November, 2008 I have only ever been there on a Sunday lunchtime and, apart from the 'diners' the rest of the clientèle seemed to be knuckle-dragging, tattooed, Premier League shirt-wearing freshly-shaved gorillas swilling Carling and shouting. Needless to say, I have not been there since.
