Frank's cousin Posted 3 December, 2012 Posted 3 December, 2012 Mad odd and completely brilliant Primus - Wynona's big brown beaver - listen at high volume! 'Primus suck'
pap Posted 3 December, 2012 Posted 3 December, 2012 This was great when originally release...and even better when it ****ed off that **** simon Ah, Rage Against The Machine. Listened to this band in my formative years. Yes, I agree - this explains a lot.
pap Posted 3 December, 2012 Posted 3 December, 2012 Rocket Queen. Guns 'n Roses all out best track, imo. Still gets listened to once or twice a month. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9hdZmaYIT0
Jonnyboy Posted 3 December, 2012 Posted 3 December, 2012 In my top 5 of all time. You're right it was a brilliant era for music, Oasis and Blur in their prime, great other bands around like Shed Seven, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, Suede, the Verve and so on. Was also a great time in my life so all those songs and bands have great memories attached to them. Are you Chris Moyles?
Barry Sanchez Posted 6 December, 2012 Posted 6 December, 2012 Are you Chris Moyles? Not too sure it was a brilliant time for music, there were some good bands aorund but brilliant?
sandwichsaint Posted 6 December, 2012 Posted 6 December, 2012 My fave record, played at SMS pre-match a least twice in the League 1 years. They wouldn't alllow anything like this anywhere near the Barclays Premier League.
sandwichsaint Posted 6 December, 2012 Posted 6 December, 2012 Songs from my yoof? Don't know how to post 'em up (showing my age there) but if anybody's got any of these: Age 10-12 = Slade, Sweet, Bowie, Roxy Music, Elton John (yikes!), T Rex Early secondary school = Pink Floyd, Bowie, dabbled in Genesis, Jethro Tull (do they have a local connection? they were massive at my school, Hamble, without any chart connection). Start to add in Cockney Rebel, Thin Lizzy, Bob Marley, Springsteen Takes you to the end of my yoof: Pistols, Clash, Buzzcocks, Jam, Dr Feelgood, Ian Dury, SLF, Ramones. Post 'em up, kids of today, don't know they're born etc.

sandwichsaint Posted 6 December, 2012 Posted 6 December, 2012 [video=youtube_share;louXPUW7tHU]http://youtu.be/louXPUW7tHU Nice work. How good was Bowie at this time? I've sort of grown away from him over the intervening 40 years but he's still 'wow' when you see something like this.
