Badger Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 You young bastards. Is there a defining song of my youth in the 1970's ? ( and it was a common scabby London bint in my time called Janet Stweet fackin' Pawter, by the way, who gave rise to the term "yoof" by her awful pronunciation that some of you now cling to). Will think about it. In hindsight, we were spoiled.

saintbletch Posted 2 December, 2012 Posted 2 December, 2012 One from my youth... You wouldn't get away with this sort of thing nowadays. The PC brigade would tell you that it should my "Mummy" and not "Mammy".

You're right it was a brilliant era for music, Oasis and Blur in their prime, great other bands around like Shed Seven, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, Suede, the Verve and so on. Was also a great time in my life so all those songs and bands have great memories attached to them.

Frank's cousin Posted 3 December, 2012 Posted 3 December, 2012 Cracking track, great band - my claim to fame is meeting Tm Booth when involved with Ents at Univerisity in 1990 and they played on the Goldmother tour - top bloke.
