terrasaint Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Including no games between 8th and 22nd while most of our opponents play 2 games in between these dates and 7 in all. Just wondered if anyone knows why this is.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Because Chelsea are in the Club World Cup, our fixture with them was cancelled.
ToreSF Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Important month. Head says we will take 6 point, heart 10 and genitals 12.
Roger Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 8 points, win next 2, draw at fulham and draw with arsenal, arsenal arent very good.
terrasaint Posted 1 December, 2012 Author Posted 1 December, 2012 Because Chelsea are in the Club World Cup, our fixture with them was cancelled. Ok thanks for that.
trousers Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Important month. Head says we will take 6 point, heart 10 and genitals 12. Me too (as the saying goes: "great genitals think alike")
Wade Garrett Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 I reckon we need 9 points. Beat Reading, Sunderland and Fulham, then going into a transfer window we'll have enough for a top 17 place.

Just wondered if anyone knows why this is. Probably just as well, we look knackered when we play 3 games in 7 days, at least we don't have to do that again this year.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Thankfully we won't be able to use tiredness as an excuse if we falter
ART Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 We stand today in a really precarious position with sides all around us having played 2 games less that ourselves. We are in a false euphoria of believing that we are progressed. I pointed out previously that we are in a worse position now that back in Dec 2004. The coming matches in December are must win and take maximum points. There is no excuse for dropping points when our players are up for it. Substitutions and their bad timings continue to be the biggest matter of concern. We had better players left on the bench today such as Makuya and Ward-Prowse who could have produced better than Rodriguez and Davis. Davis is a waste of time and wish we'd never signed him. Prowsey is far far superior and is being short changed by Atkins.
Ex Lion Tamer Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Would rather we play as few games as possible until we reach the transfer window
Badger Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 Would rather we play as few games as possible until we reach the transfer window Lets all pray, or woot, for a big freeze then.
Turkish Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 IF we dont beat Reading and SUnderland then we will go down. I know those two games aren't the be all and end all but we face two struggling teams who are out of form at home. We should win them both, there are no excuses and if we arent good enough to beat these two in their current state at home then we wont stay up.

Turkish Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 although there is alot of games to be played between then and the end of the season ill go along with this. win both of these and we WILL be out of bottom three I know there are a lot of games to be played after that, but we have the teams directly above us and below us at home, both out of form and low on confidence and struggling badly. We should win both. If we dont, we cant be confident of winning any other game this season.

We have to beat this dross, especially during their down periods.

Dr Who? Posted 1 December, 2012 Posted 1 December, 2012 I was in agreement with you Yes but there are a lot of games still to be played, and if we cannot beat the teams around us at home, then I think we will be in trouble. Win them both and I think we might be out the bottom 3 again.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 2 December, 2012 Posted 2 December, 2012 (edited) Because Chelsea are in the Club World Cup, our fixture with them was cancelled. Typical it would have been a good time to play them given the mess they are in! Edited 2 December, 2012 by Saint Without a Halo
