SaintIT Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20540955#asset Well done that person. BBC have picked it up here. Yet another talent that Arsenal will probably be interested in.
Lighthouse Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 That was pretty good. Loved the irony of a dog dancing to a song made in Korea.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 For the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed the half time entertainment. The relay was well funny again, favourite bit was when that lad took about 5 seconds to tee up a shot from 40 yards out to make him look spectacular, only for the ball to end up further away from the goal than it started at. Sammy topped it off nicely *pauses* Gangnam style! *does dance*
the stain Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 People going to games in fancy dress. What gimps.
The Cat Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 The relay was funny, the dancing dog was embarrassing as was the fact people over the age of 12 were clapping along and cheering.
Guan 2.0 Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 The relay was funny, the dancing dog was embarrassing as was the fact people over the age of 12 were clapping along and cheering. Agreed. It always seems the kid in front will strike a pose and cack it up. twice. From inside the area.
Turkish Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 People going to games in fancy dress. What gimps. this.
The Cat Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Agreed. It always seems the kid in front will strike a pose and cack it up. twice. From inside the area. The last 2 games they've had slightly older people shooting for goal. Last night the one in the white top who missed twice from no distance was a woman. Dancing mascots and women in the relay. What is happening to our club?
Miltonroader07 Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I was sat next to a couple of dogs as well
Spudders Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I chuckled to myself at the ‘lad’ in the stone island gear near me who had been shouting abuse all through the first half, as he got his phone out to video a dog dancing gangnam style!
RonManager Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 People going to games in fancy dress. What gimps. Gimp suits are NOT fancy dress........................................ so I'm led to believe.
solentstars Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I chuckled to myself at the ‘lad’ in the stone island gear near me who had been shouting abuse all through the first half, as he got his phone out to video a dog dancing gangnam style! not suprised i always thought those poor people who wear stone island had the lowest brain cells.
sandwichsaint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I chuckled to myself at the ‘lad’ in the stone island gear near me who had been shouting abuse all through the first half, as he got his phone out to video a dog dancing gangnam style! Yoof ain't what it used to be. I remember a time when he would have got a shower of loose change, a couple of cups of **** and the odd stray dart for his troubles.
Barry Sanchez Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 What ever happened to East stand trying to get over the fences into the Archers for half time entertainment?
Spudders Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Can we have this next week? Chicks - Yes please. But don't think much of their crowds, even the skates get more in the ground than that!
Liquidshokk Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 He did this at the sideline at HT during the NUFC game... Someone obviously noticed that it got people laughing so decided to make a feature of it. Maybe its right up Cortese's street
de-fence Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Pretty embarrassing that that's on the BBC website. Makes us look like a right noddy club.
Saint Garrett Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Nearly did it on Kick off but the music guy switched it off just as it was about to get into it. Quite funny light hearted entertainment!
Mowgli Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 The relay was funny, the dancing dog was embarrassing as was the fact people over the age of 12 were clapping along and cheering. Meeeooooooww........... .....bet you could not do it in a costume. What you got against dogs anyway.........???
Saint_Mabes Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I'm sorry but I cannot believe that anyone who was there did not enjoy that dance. It was by far the funniest thing I've seen at half time and just added an even more positive vibe in the stadium and with saints in general. I loved the fact that the away fans loved it too. Its great being a Saints fan at the moment. Couldn't help but think of that simpsons episode where he becomes 'dancing Homer'! Class.
Give it to Ron Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Pretty embarrassing that that's on the BBC website. Makes us look like a right noddy club. No it doesn't really does it..... now this does

All you other miserable sods, get a life, sorry sense of humour! I found it very funny and great effort from Sammy Saint.
beatlesaint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Even the opposition enjoyed it Funniest half time entertainment since Dennis Rofe used to try singing "Oh When The Saints..." Elliott Bennett @Ebenno88 Have to say @officialsaints half time entertainment, best I have seen for a long time. Good old relay race followed by a gangnam style dog!
saint lard Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 That fella who dresses up as sammy went on a cruise to the med recently on one of the larger cruise liners. he was with his mate, they were a great laugh.....not to my cousin however,he is a skate through and though. great banter, nice bloke.....he took the **** out of my cousin constantly.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Can we have this next week? I'll see what I can do!!
Liquidshokk Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I'll see what I can do!! Haven't you got an email to reply to?
Hatch Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Sammy Saint was funny last night, not side splitting hilarious, just funny. And that is good. Same as the kids going arse over tit during the relay.

Got me wondering if its the person I thought it was!!

They had more planks in their travelling support than we normally do.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Haven't you got an email to reply to? Ha!! Done....!

I had my head in my hands looking at all the adults around me clapping along.
Turkish Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 How old are you? I had my head in my hands looking at all the adults around me clapping along. Don't lie. I looked across and saw you clapping and singing along. You'll be wearing a tinsel wig next.
Griffo Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Don't lie. I looked across and saw you clapping and singing along. You'll be wearing a tinsel wig next. You specifically got up to come and tell me how funny you thought it was.

Got me wondering if its the person I thought it was!! My understanding is that it's not always the same person. I know someone who's being sammy saint for a home game in January, they are currently thinking up how they can compete with yesterdays effort!
dronskisaint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 Wow! Someone with a sense of humour. All you other miserable sods, get a life, sorry sense of humour! I found it very funny and great effort from Sammy Saint. +1...thank fark I'm not so precious as to let a dancing mascot threaten my 'cool' image
Liquidshokk Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 My understanding is that it's not always the same person. I know someone who's being sammy saint for a home game in January, they are currently thinking up how they can compete with yesterdays effort! Makes sense. Been talking to the person I know who I thought it was on twitter but didn't know they'd been on a cruise recently.
Weston Saint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I thought it was excellent entertainment live last night and he had clearly worked very hard to get it perfected. Block 5 enjoyed it. My wife has seen the BBC extract and enjoyed it. My daughters age 36 and 31 have watched it and enjoyed it. My 13 month old Grand Daughter loved it and watched it twice. 3 generations and all thumbs up.
CB Saint Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 It was just good light hearted fun. In any case, those whinging about it are just plastic fans. Any proper fan would have been in the concourse drinking three pints of saints ale and eating pie.
supersonic Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 can we play him? he's more mobile than some of the players we've had
The Cat Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 It was just good light hearted fun. In any case, those whinging about it are just plastic fans. Any proper fan would have been in the concourse drinking three pints of saints ale and eating pie. The real fans are drinking 3 pints of ale and eating a pie while smoking in the toilets.
The Cat Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 can we play him? He's more mobile than some of the players we've had maybe he could play in goal!! Roflcopter.

SaintRobbie Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 that was pretty good. Loved the irony of a dog dancing to a song made in korea. lol!
Golden Balls Posted 29 November, 2012 Posted 29 November, 2012 I thought it was decent. Added something to the 'entertainment' which was welcome. Obviously a select few on here are to conscious of how 'cool' they are so won't admit to liking it. Denial. You just know its going to happen every week now though. Like a good joke, it's never as good the second time.
THINWHITEDUKE Posted 30 November, 2012 Posted 30 November, 2012 Pretty embarrassing that that's on the BBC website. Makes us look like a right noddy club.[/quote) It's not a dancing dog that makes our club look noddy, it's plastic cvvnts like you with no sense of humour.
Delboy Dave Posted 30 November, 2012 Posted 30 November, 2012 Yep just been reported on national news
