Colinjb Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 Damnit, everything was going so right until then. Really poor from Gazza. Snodgrass looked embarrassed. We've been on top so far though, let's carry that on into the second half.
obelisk Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 There was me thinking "that's a tame shot - Gazza's got it covered". Not for long. So depressing to concede like that just before the break.

skintsaint Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 Yes poor keeping but we only had three in the wall and they were not covering any of the goal !!!! Gambol2K9 Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 I really rate Gazza but I don't think he's quite ready for Prem football. I'd stick with him and look to bring in an older, more experienced keeper in Jan for Gazza to learn from. Give it a year or two of learning and I think Gazza will be absolutely top draw. CanadaSaint Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 Yep, the wall was laughable but not at all funny. And lining it up was Gazzaniga's job. The less said about the save attempt, the better. His immaturity is really starting to show. He was a little lucky twice in that half after giving up on crosses hit to the far post before they were out of play. Still, we have enough about us to win this. Our second halves have recently been better than our first halves.
Thedelldays Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 ... for some reason .... that may include throwing things at the crowd.... you mean, the advertising boards...which has also been cleared up apparently imagine if boruc had made the mistakes gazza has made in the last couple of weeks..he would be chased out of southampton.. but for some reason..despite clearly not being ready, gazza is flavour of the month on here
dobbo Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 If we don't win this now Gazza will have cost us 4 points. He needs dropping before he costs us more. He nearly cost us a goal at nil nil with Newcastle too.

Not as free flowing as Sunday, in part due to Norwich being better in closing us down and in part fatigue i'ld say.

If we do bring Boruc back into the fold as first team keeper then he needs to remain so for the season. We can't keep changing keeper every few games and expect any sort of consistency. pangy Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 Boruc was rusty imo,he didnt have a pre-season or club to train with,we knew he had a "attitude" but he is a great signing,if we would of stuck with him I bet he would be up to speed with it by now and would of been a great addition at the back
washsaint Posted 28 November, 2012 Share Posted 28 November, 2012 delldays.....why are you such a whiney, persistently negative person? Too long on a sub? Whatever it is, it truly is an embarrassment, your bedwetting attitude. The sky is not falling in, we are drawing against a pretty good Norwich side and to say that Gazza has cost us 4 points is just downright pathetic....not to mention calling him a clown. As bad as saying Adkins HAD to go as he was out of his depth, etc. Why don't you go and support Chelsea or Man U if you want to see a team win every week? Hopefully we will improve in the 2nd half and go on to win........whatever happens I am proud of this young side and it's manager and how they are learning to play, the right way, in the Prem.
