Be nice to see him back at SMS tonight. Hope he gets a proper welcome, he was asked to sacrifice a lot for the good of the club, and he chose to step up and do it.

Hasn't played in any of their last 8 games so not sure we will see him tonight.

There was a time during the dark days of Championship relegation when he was pretty much the only light in a very dark time. Much respect for him.

Shame, he was important for them under Lambert.

what was the outcome of his negociations with the South African National side? I mean if he was actively seeking selection for the ANC group that might not have gone down any too well at Norwich. Anyway his defensive qualities are probably not sufficient to

allow him any CM role and Norwich now have better wide players available.

Top lad, when invading the pitch after the Sheff United game where we stayed up I was first to him and almost crushed him with a bear hug, all he kept asking was "are we up, are we up", I told him Leicester had drawn (this that was what happened?) and we were OK, we was over the moon and mentioned it in the Echo a few weeks later describing me as a "loony fan"!

Excellent footballer, tidy, good vision and excellent touch. Shining light of that season and really thought he would kick on in the Prem. Not too late tbf eb=ven if not in Coleman's immediate plans, good luck to him.

Good player but always struggled to work out what his best position was. He's not strong enough to play holding MF, not quick enough to play out wide and not inventive enough to be a creative Midfielder.

Coleman's? Surman's not Welsh is he!

Doh, meant Hughton. Only excuse I can up with is either Coleman's mustard were a distant sponsor of Norwich and/ or Coleman's mustard is the same colour of their shirt.

Either way I've not covered myself in glory....

Wouldn't get in to our first team though Danny.

who would you drop for surman ?

not in the least, Drew Surman wouldn't be first choice at SFC anywhere on the pitch. He's not first choice at Norwich and none of their midfielders would get into our side.

Agreed

Came and said hello to me when I flashed my Sainst top when He was here in Australia playing a friendly for Wolves Vs Perth Glory.

Seemed a nice fellow and had the biggest smile when I showed him the top - Got a few photos and a quick chat.

Wish him all the best for his future

So are we Real Madrid now?

Could definitely challenge Puncheon.

Not on Puncheon's current form he wouldn't. He's a good lad though - I'd like him in the squad.
