Bourno Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Well done, sounded magnificent on the radio, well done lads and well done 4,000 travelling supporters, I wish I could have made it there today.
sambosa757 Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Come on Saints!!!! You absolute beauty!! Shove that up your arrogant arses Reading.
dubai_phil Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Oh let's all feel sorry for those who wanted us to lose today NOT
suewhistle Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Apperitivo time! Saints fans from Ampshire to the Alps to Dubai give an audible sigh of relief and head off to the pub, bar, fridge for a well deserved nerve tonic. See you later guys!:-))
Niemster Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 We just beat the best team in the league away! doesn't get better than this!

Bromley Saint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 My 600th post: WELL DONE LADS! I'm so looking forward to the game at Charlton next weekend.
mcjwills Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Stayed away from the radio and prayed to the GOD of football and my look what happened. Glad to hear the fans are going mad on the radio.
daghvi Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 What a great victory I've been listening to the game on the radio, and it sounds like we played them off the park. Brilliant stuff, hope we can continue this form at St.Marys on Tuesday. Big regards to all saints fan. From Dagfinn in Norway
Toomer Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Great win lets just not get carried away we did a few weeks ago and it went tits up.
saint lard Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 It is imperative we carry this on to the Plymouth match, the hard work put in today will be not fully capitalised on if we don't get 3 points on Tuesday.
KK the 2nd Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Great result. We now need to do it at home. Hopefully 4-4-2 will see us kill off Plymouth on Tuesday.
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 The inconsistency of this side never ceases to amaze me. Everyone (me included) expected us to get completely dicked today and they proved everyone wrong. Not complaining. That puts us up to 19th and provided Norwich don't win away at Forest later on, we'll stay there.
Mr X Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 this result proves we have nothing to fear against any club but we need to follow this result up with another win and build some consistancy the question is will it happen?
braveheart1983 Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Just when you begin giving up on Saints they go and do this!?! If only we could find this kind of consistency, we'd be looking up rather than down.
Seaford Saint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Relief. My wife and her kids are Reading fans and they are on their way back as I type. A completely unexpected result!!!! What a result!!
harvey Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Brilliant result, well done Saints and all those who went =D>..............gonna have a :drinkers: to celebrate.
paris Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 From someone who wants us to win *always YYYYYEEEEESSSSSS....
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 An excellent result away to high flying Reading. WELL DONE LADS! you've put a smile on an old fans face!
hypochondriac Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 **** alpine you negative piece of crap. Fantastic!
doggface Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 stunned and delighted! I fancied Reading 3-0, I know nothing about the game (gonna have a read) we need to turn around our home form BADLY but some of our away performances have been quite something! superb....well done lads. we have ability in this squad that has now been proved.
gjphilsaint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 great result another win away lets sort out the home form now!!! Radio5Live report was very complimentary of saints who sounded very assured. Well done.
View From The Top Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Our away form has become our traditional home form and our home form our traditional away form. I am chuffed to bits and will be going for a beer tonight.
Northant Saint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 I'm so proud of Saints after this performance. Cmon lads lets get some consistency and prove all of those boo boys wrong.
St Landrew Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Poor old Will Cope; his voice started to break as the result got to him. Excellent performance, and strangely, I was semi-confident of Saints once the first goal went in. This is the sort of performance the youngsters are capable of, as long as the silly mistakes are cut out. Let's not go overboard on one result, but this is a significant one. Well done Jan and the players, for getting the tactics dead right.
Northant Saint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 are you watching alpine saint? aaaarrrreeee you watching alpine saint? LOLOLOLOLOL
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 **** alpine you negative piece of crap. Fantastic! Hypo dont you get Alpines reverse Psychology!
Victor Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 My 600th post: WELL DONE LADS! I'm so looking forward to the game at Charlton next weekend. But it will be new-manager-syndrome by then! Saints win just described as 'thoroughly deserved' on national radio. I AM dreaming!
John B Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Poor old Will Cope; his voice started to break as the result got to him. Yes a significant result but the game against Charlton is very important However we must start winning at home I would be interested to know our Home results since relegation
SaintRobbie Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Happy Days! Put BWP up front as a lone striker next time - he can hit the target! Surprised... but pleased. Now bring on the December takeover so we can have a fighting chance of staying up by reinforcing the team in January with men and a decent manager/chairman!
Chap in the Chapel Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 The best result of the season by quite some distance. Like the Preston win though, this is absolutely meaningless unless it's built on. Plymouth are seventh tonight so Tuesday is by no means a certainty. Keep two up front though and we'll have a chance. I really hope that this means Poortvliet is starting to learn!
Faz Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 The inconsistency of this side never ceases to amaze me. Everyone (me included) expected us to get completely dicked today and they proved everyone wrong. Not complaining. That puts us up to 19th and provided Norwich don't win away at Forest later on, we'll stay there. Anyone who didn't expect inconsitency this season should check themselves in.
MulletMan Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 are you watching alpine saint? aaaarrrreeee you watching alpine saint? LOLOLOLOLOL Hahaha would be a great chant!
adysaint Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 Ho, Ho, ho Coppell should give his 76 losers medal a polish tonight. But after every decent away result - we always follow it up with a complete arse up @ home. I know its a cliche - but this means jack if we don't beat Plymouth.
