Dalek2003 Posted 26 November, 2012 Posted 26 November, 2012 What exactly is Gulys best position?, for me he doesnt give the ball away as much as people seem to think. I think we will keep Hammond / Sharp / Barnard out on loan just in case the dreaded 'R' word happens. I think that is part of the 'yoyo' plan. very sensible too.
stevegrant Posted 26 November, 2012 Posted 26 November, 2012 Does every player receive a payrise from being promoted to the Prem? Surely some are still on Champ wages? I would expect any player who didn't have a promotion pay rise written into their contract would have sacked their agent pretty swiftly. That sort of thing must be pretty standard, it's a fairly easy incentive to offer a player - earn the club success on the pitch and be rewarded on your payslip.

I think most will have got a little rise based on last year's participation. Regular starters last year probably have had their wages aligned with the PL now though. Also I can see Butterfield retiring at the end of the season after cashing-in on some PL money.
