Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 James Beattie has just put a penalty past Tommy Forecast in the Accrington v Gills game.
Lighthouse Posted 24 November, 2012 Author Posted 24 November, 2012 James Beattie scores for Accrington First for about 3 years I think. Was a penalty though.
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 First for about 3 years I think. Was a penalty though. and against Forecast.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 2-2 wigan/reading Good result for us IMO
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Good result for us IMO I think so too. Its not just about getting out of the bottom 3, its also about getting some breathing space.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I think so too. Its not just about getting out of the bottom 3, its also about getting some breathing space. Agreed, though it's not over yet...
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Ruddy injured for Norwich well, if he is out weds...we definitely cant say we have not had the luck...with the amount of injuries newcastle have got.. a defeat tomorrow would be very very very poor really...
ericofarabia Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Agreed' date=' though it's not over yet...[/quote'] ...... and we've not even started !!!
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 ...... and we've not even started !!! Reading still have a game in hand.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 well, if he is out weds...we definitely cant say we have not had the luck...with the amount of injuries newcastle have got.. a defeat tomorrow would be very very very poor really... Yep, IMO we should win them both and anything less than 4 points from the next two games will be poor.
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 a defeat tomorrow would be very very very poor really... This. For the first time since the season start, we have no major injury worries and can take the bull-by-the-horns. Getting out of the bottom 3 will do wonders for confidence. Now, we talk about things NA does or does not do to deserve dismissal, well if the lads are not up for tomorrow, that for me is one of the best candidates to earn his P45.
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Yep, IMO we should win them both and anything less than 4 points from the next two games will be poor. and no excuses for nigel...no top half teams....no injuries for us...they will be hit with injuries (newcastle severely anyway)...both at home...etc etc anything less than 4 points would be a let down and no excuses for nigel... however, 4 points or more...couple with the draw and win in the last game would be very very nice..we are at the point where we have to do or die
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 norwich equalise.. another game they were lucky they never wrote off
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Dam we cannot go above them on Wednesday now!
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 and no excuses for nigel...no top half teams....no injuries for us...they will be hit with injuries (newcastle severely anyway)...both at home...etc etc anything less than 4 points would be a let down and no excuses for nigel... however, 4 points or more...couple with the draw and win in the last game would be very very nice..we are at the point where we have to do or die Really we should be looking at 10 points from our next 5 games. Home to Newcastle, Norwich, Reading and Sunderland with Liverpool away in between them. The 4 home games are ones we should be winning.
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 What is all this wrote off crap? We were just not good enough to beat Everton on the day!
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 norwich equalise.. another game they were lucky they never wrote off They should have FFS.
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 They should have FFS. I have a feeling...not sure though, that saints fans only write off games against anyone in the top half....other teams seem to pick up points at these places
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 What is all this wrote off crap? We were just not good enough to beat Everton on the day! Which is just as well because according to the forums Intelligent posters we should write off any game against teams in the top half of the table.
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Really we should be looking at 10 points from our next 5 games. Home to Newcastle, Norwich, Reading and Sunderland with Liverpool away in between them. The 4 home games are ones we should be winning. Agreed, but we will not win them all.
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Which is just as well because according to the forums Intelligent posters we should write off any game against teams in the top half of the table. Think we looked ok against Man U and man city!
Saints foreva Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 David McGoaldrought has a disallowed goal vs Pompey.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Think we looked ok against Man U and man city! Doesn't matter, we should never win those gams anyway, we should write them off.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Rather Wigan won it then Reading tbf
SaintBobby Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Hmmm..wanted Wigan and Reading to draw really....
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Agreed, but we will not win them all. Why not? Except for Liverpool away why will we not win all the home games? None of those four are anything to fear.
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 reading are going down...we need to make the most of this..with them and sunderland are losing.......hopefully, villa will avoid a win
OttawaSaint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Bah, ****smuth equalise in stoppage tome...
Lighthouse Posted 24 November, 2012 Author Posted 24 November, 2012 Would have prefered a draw there to keep Wigan in it. Feckin' Everton though, what's betting they had about 50 chances to make it 2-0 but had an 'off day' in front of goal. Sunderland, QPR and Reading lose with Villa possibly to join them this evening. Can't be too unhappy with that.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 reading are going down...we need to make the most of this..with them and sunderland are losing.......hopefully, villa will avoid a win Win tomorrow we'reoutof the drop zone, 8 clear of QPR and 2 above Reading with them to play at home in 2 weeks time, really daylight between us and them if we beat them as well, which we should do.
