kwsaint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I like Coventry. Never really upset anyone and have some awful owners. Want them to do well this year
Lighthouse Posted 24 November, 2012 Author Posted 24 November, 2012 Our defeat at West Brom maybe not looking quite as bad these days. If they can hang on to this lead (against a team who just can't score) they will be 2 points off the top of the League, albeit having played a game more than Man City.

And for me, that game was the start of an upturn for us. We looked much more of a team that night, and even though it was pretty comfortable for WBA, it wasn't the massacre many were suggesting it would be, and we actually competed well. So in the grand scheme of things, that performance wasn't that bad at all.

Want them to do well this year Walking out of SMS last day of last season and seeing the cov fans on the coaches clapping us, thumbs up etc, seemed pleased for us. Class.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Walking out of SMS last day of last season and seeing the cov fans on the coaches clapping us, thumbs up etc, seemed pleased for us. Class. We had a chat to a few of theirs outside the Northam, good lads. Dont mind Coventry, a lot of similarities between us and them. Also remember their cup final in 1987 was the first one I really remember clearly, hot may afternoon and a cracking header from Keith Hounchen For one of their goals.
Lighthouse Posted 24 November, 2012 Author Posted 24 November, 2012 One heck of a second half at the Stadium of Light. 4-2 to West Brom, that will do nicely.
Saint Charlie Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Walsall 0 Hartlepool 1 Evan Horwood pen.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Young (man united) does some shocking dives...... Should be reviewed after games and anyone found diving like that should be banned
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Coventry 1 Pompey 0 The travelling "army" https://twitter.com/Tom_Kirkman/status/272354611745128448/photo/1

Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I think reading will win today, and so will Man U.
sfc1976 Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 The travelling "army" https://twitter.com/Tom_Kirkman/status/272354611745128448/photo/1 Dear oh dear. Reasonably sure we took more than that to Hartlepool on a Tuesday night. And we're nowhere near as big as the club that the bestest follow.
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 The travelling "army" https://twitter.com/Tom_Kirkman/status/272354611745128448/photo/1 Brilliant, they will be in league 2 next season. Hope they come out of admin soon, -10..... Doomed
Dr Who? Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Everyone on sky are wetting themselves, over the fact that Man U and Celtic are not winning. Does anyone on here, think these 2 will not pick up home wins? I expect them both to win by 2 or more goals as normal service resumes in the 2nd half.
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I ssee the "Redknapp effect at every team he can be bothered with - which excludes Saints" is already weaving its magic at QPR. As things stand we are out of the bottom 3 if we win tomorrow, right ?
Saint Charlie Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Walsall 0 Hartlepool 1 1-1 now, sucker punch for Pools.
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 This is a pretty rubbish day for us as it stands.
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I am surprised QPR are 1 nil up..no manager can ever do any better than than the current one...or something
Saints foreva Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 United have looked so poor, QPR will park the bus now.
doggface Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Man utd have been awful, never seen so poor at home
Saint Charlie Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I am surprised QPR are 1 nil up..no manager can ever do any better than than the current one...or something Lol, you are a fool. Should we sack Adkins then? Please just say yes or no (99% sure you won't commit).
Saint Without a Halo Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 I am surprised QPR are 1 nil up..no manager can ever do any better than than the current one...or something and No manager is what they have today too
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 This is a pretty rubbish day for us as it stands. Huh ? Sunderland lost, Villa will lose and Wigan/Reading is a draw. The only crap score is QPR and I still expect Manyoo to snatch at least a draw. We get the right result tomorrow, we are out of the bottom 3.
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 just as well QPR have not written off todays game....
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 just as well QPR have not written off todays game.... You beat me to it. They should have just taken the hiding they were guaranteed to get and wrote it off. A change of manager never improves things.
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Huh ? Sunderland lost, Villa will lose and Wigan/Reading is a draw. alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Reading were winning when i posted that That still wouldnt have harmed our chances of getting out the bottom 3 tomorrow, because Wigans GD is not much better than ours.
SaintBobby Posted 24 November, 2012 Posted 24 November, 2012 Need Man Utd to turn this round. On the upside, the skates are losing and have yet to manage a shot on goal....
Lighthouse Posted 24 November, 2012 Author Posted 24 November, 2012 I remember our damp rainy trip to Coventry last season. It's got to be one of the most dull, depressing places to live in Britain. Good job we won 4-2 otherwise I'd have probably killed myself.
