itunes - Empty after removal of some files

Over a period of time I’ve been moving my music off of my pc and on to a couple of different external hard drives, one of which I disconnect from time to time, but when it’s disconnected all the albums still show in itunes, they’d just not work if I clicked on them.

 

I’ve recently moved across the last remaining albums from my pc, but I seem to have accidently also moved ALL the itunes media/library files by mistake as now when I open I tunes it’s empty.

 

I’ve just moved the itunes folder back to the pc that contains the folders for Album artwork, itunes media, etc, but do any of you know how I get everything showing in itunes again? I thought I’d just have to drag the iTunes Library.itl file back into itunes but that didn’t work, any ideas?

You have to out the library file somewhere else (on the desktop for example) then in iTunes you have to use import playlist. It takes chuffing ages.
