I see they've sacked off listing games which you need to have been to and just put a number of aways. Should be going to this if transport can be sorted.

Also worth noting that they have their 'neutral stand' which have already gone on sale on the Fulham website. http://shop.fulhamfc.com/events.aspx?section=eve&eventfilter=home

Since it's unsegregated between away and 'neutral' fans I recently bought a couple of seats adjoining our fans. Missed out on the fabled loyalty points but don't have to faff about with allocation windows or risk missing out. The Fulham ticket office was top notch too - the tickets arrived in the post the next day.

2,000 tickets? Surely we should be getting more? Thought even half of that end was well over 2,000.

"Away fans are housed to one side of the Putney End Stand on the river side of the ground. This stand is shared with 'neutral' supporters, with away fans being allocated around 3,000 seats, which is just under half of the overall capacity of this stand."

So will we be getting an extra 1,000 when/if we sell the 2,000 out? The club are sh*t with allocations this season and letting us know if allocations are just initial ones or if it's all we're getting.

Edit: Ignore me I'm blind.

I imagine there won't be many parking restrictions in operation, just park somewhere in Putney or on the District Line.

If only. Agree - park somewhere on the fringes of the tube, but parking restrictions will be just like any other Wednesday. Bank holidays irrelevant.

Surprised this hasn't sold out yet. Just went on the OS and still tickets available restricted and unrestricted view. Was expecting us to sell this out pretty quickly and also have quite a few in the nuetral end....

The unrestricted tickets were showing as Sold Out yesterday when I logged on. It'll sell out, don't worry about that.

There are very few parking restrictions in Wimbledon Park which is on the district line.

Otherwise, park near Motspur Park Station, and take the bus to Wimbledon (5 mins), then district line. It is where I live, right on the A3 so shouldn't be any traffic on the way in or on the way out. I'll be in Japan, so don't even mind if you park in my space or clog up my road.

For those travelling to Fulham, as well as a lack of trains you could also struggle with the tube

Oh ffs! Only good thing Thatcher ever did was kill of the unions and yet she still didn't have time for this bunch of wasters. If they had any real guts as a union they would strike on days/weeks it actually mattered instead of a day off.

Anyone got any advice as to where to park or where to stop and get the bus into london from?

Was intending on driving and then parking by a tube stop and getting the tube to the ground, but with the strike, I'm a bit stuck.

Tempted to use 'www.parkatmyhouse.com'

There will be some sort of tube service running, just check that and don't park too far away, really won't be too bad.

From what I can see on our ticket site, we haven't sold out for this yet surprisingly.

I'm guessing that a lot of people who thought they'd only have a marginal chance of getting a ticket will have taken any SFC priority system out of the equation by buying a ticket in the "neutral" section.

if there are empty seats I might be tempted to move to neutral section myself mate , will bring back memories of Europa league 1st qualifying round v that faroe islands team ! I reckon we'll come close to filling our bit and have over 3k in total. can you see what availability is like in Neutral stand ?

Yeah, reckon that must have made a bit of an impact. Still a surprise.

Not much left at all in the Putney end, only single seats in covered sections (think the front 5 rows are uncovered)

Just to correct some flawed information on here, parking restrictions throughout Hammersmith and Fulham are lifted on Boxing Day, with the exception of the zones immediately around the ground. So parking on the Crabtree Estate (Zone T), for example, will be permissible. Getting in a couple of hours (or less) ahead of kick-off will guarantee you a space, and it's only five minutes' walk to the ground. Plus the best gastropub in the area, The Crabtree, is just around the corner. Those with their personal chauffeurs can dine at the also nearby River Cafe.

Here's the official announcement from H&F Council:

Boxing Day - Wednesday 26th December, 2012

Usual parking restrictions and charges apply in Zones CC & G. Match day parking restrictions will also apply in Zones X & Y due to a home game at Fulham FC. Parking is free in resident/business permit and pay and display bays in all other parking zones throughout Hammersmith and Fulham. Other parking restrictions (including yellow lines, disabled bays, pedestrian crossing zig-zag markings, bus stops, doctors' bays and diplomatic parking bays) also still apply.

Ah, interesting, is it easy enough to drive to? I've only ever driven to London once.

Straight up the A3 and over Putney Bridge. Ground is to the left of Fulham Palace Rd and as you probably know, alongside the river. If you park on roads to the right of Fulham Palace Rd they are probably outside the parking restrictions but don't take my word for it I haven't been down that way for a while.

A word of warning to those who were still planning on using the tube to get to the game... TFL have announced which services they expect to be running on Boxing Day, and the Wimbledon branch of the District line (which includes Putney Bridge, the closest station to Craven Cottage) will NOT be running. The only stretch of the District line in operation will be from Ealing Broadway to High Street Kensington, which does include Hammersmith, which is at the opposite end of Fulham Palace Road to Putney Bridge, probably a 20-minute walk to the ground from there.

The free parking being quoted was in Putney the other side of river to ground in the Wandsworth Borough, about 25 mins walk from ground

I'm not sure who you're quoting, and there may well be free parking in Putney, which is not in the H&F catchment. All I'm saying, as someone who lives by Craven Cottage, is that parking is free in the very nearby Crabtree Estate (use Google Maps to locate), which, using graffito's directions, is actually to the LEFT of Fulham Palace Road (coming from the Putney Bridge direction). It is a very pleasant five-minute walk to the ground from the estate, and driving in and out on match days is a piece of cake.

To Saint Garrett, the Crabtree is on the same side of the river as Craven Cottage - just a bit closer to Hammersmith Bridge.

To Steve G, you're right about Hammersmith station - and it's actually a much quieter route to walk on match days than from Putney. Just come out of Hammersmith Tube by the A4 overpass and walk down Fulham Palace Road until you get to the cemetery and then turn right. You'll hit the ground after another three or four minutes' walk.

And to trousers, hi! See you in the neutral zone?
