Heard that him and Punch had a fight after Pardew came back last week and slept with Guly

Bullsh1t.

Now he's been told he is Woy's spearhead for the next World Cup he is far too important to be seen with mere footballers especially as he now has an Image Rights contract to worry about

This for me highlights the racial divisons at the club. I've heard that there as an undercurrent of racism at the club and here it is clear for all to see. The black players have their backs turned to the white players and Clyne is the only one who appears to be actively celebrating, meanwhile the white players look all range of emotions from Lallanas forced smile to Corks abuse and the confused look on Fontes face, not sure if he should celebrate the goal scored by the black player or not. Usually when a player scores they hug or shake hands, it's evidence here that none of the white players want to touch the black players. Worrying times indeed.

I wouldn't be amazed if Lambert left in January tbh. I don't think he will, but my jaw wouldn't hit the floor if he did.

Here's my "2 + 2 = somewhere between 3 and 5" reasoning:

1. He's been benched a couple of times without obvious tactical reasons (most noticeably West Ham away). This could conceivably be because of tensions between him and the club.

2. Has looked mildly disinterested in a couple of games.

3. Might believe his only shot at every getting an England cap is to be at a bigger club.

4. We've spent a hell of a lot on transfers and recouped virtually nothing.

5. We have a surfeit of options upfront (although Lambert is very probably the best of them).

6. Would go some small way to explaining the £6m signing of Rodriguez, which is a heck of an outlay for a rarely used player.

7. Liverpool desperately need to strengthen up front and Lambert would be a good fit for them.

8. As a scouser and a Liverpool fan, one could understand Rickie and his agent being very keen on exploiting any interest from Liverpool.

9. If by Xmas, we look more likely than not to be relegated, he may want to seek a way out rather than see things through to May.

10. Some general, inconclusive, circumstantial evidence that the club's finances are not as strong/bottomless as previously believed.

11. This "worrying photo"!!!! :-) (actually, forget that, this photo is irrelevant!)

As I say, if I had to stake my life on it, I think he will stay. But I don't think we should assume that all our better players are nailed on to still be here in January.

Note Lambert is not joining in the celebrations. Do you think he could be off in January?

Personally, I don't think this is evidence of a split in the dressing room harmony.

It may however be sufficient for MLT to run a "Rickie Lambert - or possibly even Jason Puncheon - is not a very popular human being " type of story.

1, What proof of tension do you have?

2, Really? Which games?

3, Might is the key word.

4, Surly AOC was a massive recoup?

5, Yep he is.

6, No it wouldn't and rarely used?

7, Liverpool will not be looking at Lambert IMHO.

8, Liverpool will not be looking at Lambert IMHO.

9, You could be right but SRL doesn't seem the type to jump ship in its hour of need.

10, Not a reason to get rid of your best striker in January.

11, LOL.

I also think he will stay as I don't think he is planning anything else move wise.

This is the best post you've ever made! There weren't many contenders from your past but this is superb!

My strongly worded letter has been sent to the association of black lawyers demanding that they take legal action against the club for the blatant racial slurs against our black players, how dare SRL not run to exhaust himself to congratulate Puncheon. Cortese out !!!!

1. No proof. Just speculation. Not obvious that his benching at West Ham was due to injury, so just speculating.

2. Looked a bit slow and poss unmotivated in last cpl of home games to me.Not awful at all, just not up for it/firing on all cylinders.

3. Yep, that's why I said it.

4. That's going back yonks - we're the third or fourth top net spenders this year.

5. Agree - but it's not as if we have no options w/o him.

6. £6m for a player who is v rarely in the starting XI is one hell of an outlay for Saints.

7. Just don't know - but they'd be foolish not to, he's just what they need.

8. Just don't know - but they'd be foolish not to, he's just what they need.

9. Hmmm...not sure, don't feel there's any evidence either way on that.

10. I'd say shakier finances is a good reason to sell players

11. Quite!

Lambert is in the andy Carroll mould. Surely Liverpool wouldn't have sent him on loan if they wanted that type of player? And if they've changed their mind surely they'll have him back in January?

Ridiculous thread and some bizarre opinions. Pretty standard for this place, then!

I'm more concerned at Puncheon's hand in Morgan's crotch !@@#$!! But seeing you mentioned Ricky, I agree that he hasn't locked up for it in recent games. Maybe the close marking is upsetting, but he's nothing to worry about, we're really lucky to have such an amazing goal scorer.
