Miltonroader07 Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 But; what did we do today that made the difference, I dont think it was because QPR were poor. I think Ramirez playing just behind Rickie gave stability, Cork was superb and Punh had his good head on.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 QPR were rubbish to be honest, but fortunately we also put in a good performance other than the one time we switched off and paid with a goal against.
Colinjb Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Regardless of how poor QPR were, the psychological boost here is going to be massive.
Ohio Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Regardless of how poor QPR were, the psychological boost here is going to be massive. Adkins relies heavily on team spirit. This result can't hurt at all. Onwards and slightly upwards! I hope!
Under Weststand Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Yes we have got something to build on, Cork has had a stabilising effect on the team/defence. We obviously still have belief in the way we want to play. Two winnable games at home coming up. Whilst it was hell for us as supporters for QPR to score so soon after half time, it's probably been a good thing for the team, to see they can concede a goal & not go completely to pieces & still go on and win in some style.
