Jimmy_D Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Cork I reckon. We've looked a completely different team with him playing.
S-Clarke Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Tossup between Cork and Puncheon. Tough call really, but I'll give it to Puncheon because of the goal. Terrific influence by Corky though.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 From the radio commentary...must be either Punch or Cork
Lighthouse Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Can't pick one out of Cork, Lallana or Puncheon. Probably Punch he ripped them appart and scored. .... Actually no, Lallana took the p*ss. ... No, you were right actually Cork ran the midfield. Special mentions to Lambert, Morgan, Shaw, Clyne, Yoshi... actually I can't think of a poor performance today. Gazza in no-man's land for their goal but did little else wrong, not that we were ever really pressured.
Thedelldays Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Puncheon, then Cork then Lambert/lallana
Legod Third Coming Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Puncheon, then Cork then Lambert/lallana We agree. Good football second half though, all round. That's the way we need to play every week. On the deck, to feet.
CalneSaint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch for me...ran at the QPR defence all afternoon...and scored to. good all round performance
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Nobody had a poor game TBH apart from Gazza Clyne, cork, punch, lallana, the cb's, Shaw all looked good
Stepgar Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch for me although special mention must go to Clyne. The boy is relentless and nevr gives up on a ball. if it wasn't for his tenacity punch wouldn't have been able to score the second.
CB Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Cork - he is the difference between good saints and bad saints
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Puncheon, then Cork then Lambert/lallana Didnt think Lambert looked as good as others, decent game but Lallana, shaw, corky, punch all v v good
Stepgar Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Nobody had a poor game TBH apart from Gazza Clyne, cork, punch, lallana, the cb's, Shaw all looked good Gazza worries me a little bit. what was he thinking when QPR scored.
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Gazza worries me a little bit. what was he thinking when QPR scored. He is young, inexperienced and lesrning the game. He will make mistakes
CWD Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch for me, with notable mentions to every other player. You could argue that his finishing wasn't great, but QPR just couldntt handle his movement, he was everywhere!
SaintAndy14 Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 What a tough MOTM vote - love this!! Went for Puncheon but could easily have given it to Cork, Lallana or Shaw who looked excellent. Superb team performance!
SaintBobby Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Puncheon. Immense. Honourable mentions - Cork, Ramirez, Lallana and Shaw. Good stuff all round - but thought Schneiderlin was a bit below his usual exceptional standards today.
trousers Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Went for Cork in the end. Tough on Puncheon but Cork seems to be making all the difference in midfield for us
Ohio Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Tossup between Cork and Puncheon. Tough call really, but I'll give it to Puncheon because of the goal. Terrific influence by Corky though. This is why I always call for multiple votes on MOM polls. It would presents a better idea than one vote each.
ottery st mary Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 (edited) Puncheon Cork Well done NA Very pleased for Shaw...well done young man... Edited 17 November, 2012 by ottery st mary
Saints boy in Leeds Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Can't pick one out of Cork, Lallana or Puncheon. Probably Punch he ripped them appart and scored. .... Special mentions to Lambert, Morgan, Shaw, Clyne, Yoshi... actually I can't think of a poor performance today. Gazza in no-man's land for their goal but did little else wrong, not that we were ever really pressured. I see you have not mentioned Gaston in there bud, please tell me he played well ?
Reynoldson!! Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch. Seriously where the hell did that performance come from? He was absolutely world class today, did bot think he even had it in him. had the ball on a string all day, lovely goal too. Could have had a hattrick. Hon mention especially to Cork and also Shaw, very ashawed
Avenue Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch. Seriously where the hell did that performance come from? He was absolutely world class today, did bot think he even had it in him. had the ball on a string all day, lovely goal too. Could have had a hattrick. Hon mention especially to Cork and also Shaw, very ashawed He had it on superglue against utd, surprising little player who really has some genuine talent. Truly had it wrong about him previously. Vital player
Saint Martini Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Puncheon. Sensational today. He was everywhere and his work ethic is brilliant. I have no problem having this Puncheon on my team. Cork was awesome as well, but Puncheon was just as solid defensively as he was the difference offensively.
Mr X Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 He is young, inexperienced and lesrning the game. He will make mistakes Can we afford that in our position?
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Can we afford that in our position? Probably not, but our two experienced keepers have been worse
Halo Stickman Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch - superb performance today and great attitude all season. What a turnaround!
JustMike Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch for me, closely followed by Cork and Ads. Top noise from the fans to Coyr
sammysaint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Punch for me, however i did call cork comming back would be the difference in our team, and im being proven right, 4 points in his 2 games.
Olallana Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Can I vote for our fans in the stadium...?? But seriously, Punch for me but what a job Cork does...
Ohio Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Can I vote for our fans in the stadium...?? But seriously, Punch for me but what a job Cork does... Fair point with the fans. They were great!!
Jack Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Cork for me. Everything we've been missing in midfield. Morgan made a lot of mistakes today but Corky did all the clearing up tht allows him to operate. Special mentions for Punch, Shaw, and I actually thought Yoshi had a good game. Read the dangers well today.
Ohio Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 If these polls were multiple choice, we'd see a better representation of people's views and Cork would be closer behind Punch. Just sayin' (yet again)
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 If these polls were multiple choice, we'd see a better representation of people's views and Cork would be closer behind Punch. Just sayin' (yet again) It is multiple choice
dickyhale Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Went for Puncheon but could easily have given it to Cork Superb team performance!
pingwing Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Voted Cork but it was the Ricky Lambert and Jack Cork show. Cork ran it in midfield and was key to pretty much everything. Delighted to see him back and really makes a difference. Lambert was a tank upfront. Made on average 3 defenders look stupidly amateurish by just being strong and playing the ball like a sensible adult. So few strikers in the league (let alone eligible for england) that can play with that sort of class and ability.
Graffito Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Cork. Puncheon was good. Shaw is a real talent.
Sheaf Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 Just watched the highlights on MOTD and it seemed that Puncheon was involved in every single attacking move we made today, and could have had three or four goals if his finishing was a little better. Gets my vote anyway.
pingwing Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 After the MOTD highlights I feel bad not giving Steven Davis the vote
Colinjb Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 After the MOTD highlights I feel bad not giving Steven Davis the vote He did good, but not that good mate!!! haha.
pingwing Posted 17 November, 2012 Posted 17 November, 2012 He did good, but not that good mate!!! haha. motd does skew things a little bit...
RonManager Posted 18 November, 2012 Posted 18 November, 2012 motd does skew things a little bit... Dan Harding.
