bpsaint Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 Cracking half that, yes QPR have been **** defensively but we're playing as a side with so much more confidence. Need to keep our heads after the break, survive the inevitable spell of pressure, then get a third to kill it off completely. Hope Nige doesn't do something stupid like change Lambert for Guly after 60 mins.

Thedelldays Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 you called it this morning. Don't what ever you do lose the faith. So was it a nun in the crowd or what? My stream is pants dunno..just the amount of media attention hughes and QPR are getting..unless they scored early then nerves (and their fans) would turn...and it has...they are scared to lose, hence why they are not putting bodies in the box...where as we have been very very brave.... surely, we can go just 1 game where we dont gift a goal
Chez Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 If we can just put them on the back foot for 10 minutes the QPR fans will get on their back so much that they won't be able to get properly fired up for the rest of the game. Surely we can do this now, surely... easy now. QPR can only get better after the break. They were terrible. We need to step our game up too. There are loads more goals left in this one for me. Saint Fan CaM Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 First ten minutes of the 2nd half will be crucial - keep tight - press - and don't let them get a sniff. We will then win. Let in a sloppy goal and we could be toast.

Legod Third Coming Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 I'm not sure we've been as good as some people are saying. We're still giving the ball away too cheaply. We need more composure and the game is there to be won comfortably. Hopefully confidence will help.

Hopefully QPR will continue to keep giving it away and Ricky will grab another. Ramirez is a class act, but his mere presence just seems to encourage others to keep the ball better too. suewhistle Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 It's not just the fact that we're winning but the fact that we're playing well and moving off the ball. The commentators have mentioned a number of times how we are playing as a team compared with QPR. Come on Saints, another would mean I could _almost_ relax... Convict Colony Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 Cork has made a right old difference since his return - keep it tight lads and lets go for the jugular Again I like, he is the glue for these last 2 performances. It's funny how you don't know what you miss until it comes back, Davis is a good player but Cork has a season of experience playing with the same dudes.
