Barry Sanchez Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 were a car what would it be? Manchester United and Liverpool are the equivalent of Rolls Royces but what are we? Last year I think we were the powerful yet underrated sports motor like the Vauxhall Insignia but this motor developed an oil leak at the end of the race but still managed to point enough to enjoy promotion, this season I think we could be an Austin Allegro or a Fiat Punto, impossible to handle as the bits are simply not good enough for the race. CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 We're a bit like one of those ordinary Ford or Vauxhall repmobiles, but a top of the range Ghia or SRI version. I say this because we cost more than you'd think and we harbour grand ambitions of giving more expensive motors a run for their money. Unfortunately as soon as the road gets a bit difficult we go all wobbly and crash into a tree ......

Yes, yes I can see that, like a good road motor such as a Ford Mondeo going along the M27 and all of a sudden having to go off road to Durley through the fields, its not happening. CB Saint Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 An American muscle car. Expensive but still has a cheap feel. Great in straight lines, but has terrible handling when the going becomes less straightforward.
Saint Garrett Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 Alfa Romeo. Expensive and potential to be in the top 10 but never far away from a break down!

Spudders Posted 17 November, 2012 Share Posted 17 November, 2012 One of those new-fangled bendy buses. What you mean supposed to be state of the art and full of quality, but in reality we’ve seen it all before, it’ can’t take corners very well and it’s now full of plastic?
