WHat the f*ck are you on about?

Shoot me down for this but I think she/he's asking people to say which clubs do the best and worst nosh.

I gather, Mr. Turks, that matchday food might not be your area of expertise..?

Apologies, i presumed if you want to go for a nice meal you go to a nice restaurant, not a soccerball stadium.

I usually hurry from work to St.Mary's and grab something to eat pre game, not anymore, the whole "matchday experience" has gone downhill rapidly. Now turn up, watch the game, go home, don't spend any money in the bars or on programmes.

I usually spend the whole of half time in a tense line waiting to get served before having to give up when I'm about eight from the counter or forfeit the start of the second half - the staff resemble young conscripts under fire in Saigon. I have tasted the fare only once, and it was nasty, which is wholly expected but could be addressed - it takes real negligent talent to f*ck up meat pies and beef burgers. All in all, it's a bit like the OXO Tower...

West Brom was quite nice, especially around the ground.

St Marys is by far the worst I've ever known.

The stuff on the walk into West Brom was amazing, £3 for a 1/2 pound steak burger was amazing! Got decent chips for £2 and the possibility of hog roast or bags full of sweets. Probably one of the best football food places in ages.

Agreed that St Marys is also rock bottom for food, expensive, rubbish and severed by the most depressingly angry people. Even the stuff outside that should be alright has hit a new low (and a terrifying refusal to cook onions) makes me cry on the inside.

Singha beer is a good in ground alternative though, few places offer a better choice of lager.

Your match day experience couldn't have been that great previously if you were having to hurry from work in order to have time for something to eat?

Will take a lot to beat Wembley.

Had an awesome curry for about £7 at the pub just up the road from the ground at West Brom AND re-found the cheap kebab/chip shop that I went to in 2005 which charged me about £3.50 for a portion of chips, a can of coke and a kebab back then.

I haven't eaten at St Mary's for about a year so couldn't give you a score out of 10, but just the fact I haven't means it's not more than 5/10.

Fleetwood Town FC deliver a fantastic 3 course meal for £35 including a £15 ticket and a program as well as prime centre line seating. The Chairman Andy Pilley has created a setup there worthy of the PL. The fans facilities at the ground is nothing short of PL standard. Plasmas everywhere in the bar including above the urinals, quality decor and bespoke newspaper history wallpaper. Brand new stand which is as good as any I have seen of a small town club.

My work is erratic, call outs etc. and many a time I get to the stadium in time for a bite to eat and a pint, the quality this season os food and service is very poor. So, tell me, what sort of matchday experience is yours?

All I really do at the ground is place a bet, and if I get anything from the kiosk it's normally only a drink.

The quality of food as far as I remember has ALWAYS been poor. I had a cheeseburger last time we were in the Prem which had me throwing up all evening and all sunday, and then a pie at the Derby play-off game in which the sauce was just water.

If I want anything to eat now, I go to KFC/Burger King.

Worst food I ever had was at Folkestone Invicta FC. The Burger was more slime then meat, the bun more powder then bread. The most disgusting match day produce i've ever encountered, it makes the St Mary's goods look like a Gordon Ramsay spectacular.

1.5/10.

Some of the non league sheds that serve up 'food' are plain minging.

In the away end at Hereford a couple of weeks ago they had a ropey food van called Starchip Enterprise.

Now, the home end at Hereford, perfectly fine..... But they away end, yes, the locals find amusement in the misery of 'foreigners.'
