The more cortese distances himself from the history of the club, the more we see these sorts of conflict. Is this level of speculation any way to treat a former player, England international and star of the greatest war/football film in the history of the world? Lets have a little respect.

I would suggest you read the Mail article which talks about legal action.

 

oh and Derry, you're so over the top. Seriously, defamation of character for commenting on a news paper article? If Mike Osman sued, or even contemplated suing for that I'd say he really would need to get a life.

 

Lets all run scared of Mike's brothers, get a grip, his big brothers are bigger than your big brothers crap, didn't that stop when you were in primary school?

I've just googled him, he does actually have six brothers. It wasn't a joke. LOL.

Well without being a legal expert, I'd guess that the inference that MO has dragged MLT into multiple messes is what Derry's on about.

At least somebody gets it. It's not the carefully vetted article it's the title and this comment.

Would this be a bad time to mention that I am actually an acquaintance of Mike and he was actually a nice bloke? Few years back mind you before all the SFC stuff. Maybe he has got all litigious since then.

I dont get why Mike Osman gets such a tough time on here. I have met him once and also got him a gig in his early days. i find him funny and a diehard Saints fan. I dont like his cosying up to LM etc but Im sure LM is a great person to mix with and so easy to become a mate with..

From my understanding MO always talks us up and yes like MLT at times makes a gaff, he is still one of us Saints fans and deserves better treatment from his fellow supporters.

I hope the reason the programme has been pulled is due to lack of ticket sales or something, i doubt that there is much more to it than that.

Anyway I would still go and watch Mike Osman and hope he is doing well in the entertainment world

He's probably talking about a few years back when someone signing themselves off as Mike Osman suggested he had spoken to his lawyer about some post or other. Can't remember who's account he was using, I thought it was yours or Scally's.

I provided a service for him (no not that sort for the dirty minded) and as a consequence we had quite a few friendly conversations. Can't tell you exactly was because then you may know who I am and we can't be having that. I don't want to get beaten up by the six brothers!

THis is cracking me up, cant follow a thing, Mike's probably getting loads of new material with this wonderful thread... Jeez.... NO one knows why it was cancelled and it looks like its between Mike and Sky - but either way not sure its really any of our business....

This, I couldn't give a monkeys either.

and I have no comment either on Mike Osmans abilities as a comedian, as I have no recollection of ever seeing him.

 

Has MLT got any brothers that want to wade into this as well by the way?

I dont really understand why the OP has added MLT's name to the thread's title.

Mischief making perhaps ? MLT is not a promoter of theatre events ffs.....you might as well add Stelling, Merson etc etc

 

And I do fail everytime this comes up to understand the stick Mike Osman gets on this forum from some people. He is a Saints fan who has done a hell of a lot for charity over the years.

Which one of those two facts is the crime then ?
