Tokyo-Saint Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Save your pity for those predicting up to 10 points. Alpine tits, what (were) the score(s), Alpine, Alpine, what (were) the score (s).
Lambert1979 Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Save your pity for those predicting up to 10 points. Brilliant
the stain Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Maybe alpine meant the next 5 games? Sunderland Fulham stoke arsenal Aston villa I can't see us winning any of those.
Turkish Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 You can't see us beating Sunderland at home, who are third bottom?!!
PinkScarf Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 We will beat Sunderland and Fulham away. A tough gams but a point at least against Stoke. We will get a famous win against Arsenal and then with our away support beat Villa away. COME ON YOU REDS.
the stain Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 You can't see us beating Sunderland at home, who are third bottom?!! I pity you if you think we can beat Sunderland at ome, who are third bottom. In fact, I pity you for all sorts of reasons, but this is just another one.
dubai_phil Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 this thread is why I gave up playing the prediction league. Of course we will lose to Sunderland at home who will suddenly find their goalscoring touch and rattle 6 past the hapless KD Fulham Away will batter us and we'll pick up our first red cards of the season before a fluked overhead kick from Gazza rebounds off their crossbar to dribble into our open goal to give them a 2-0 win Stoke? Well of course Delap will throw to Crouch for a hat trick we'll battle back but Crouchie will hold the ball up in our corner flag for a full 10 minutes ta the end Aresnil? Well, Morgan will have joined them by the time we play so we'll get done 1-6 AGAIN as our entire team suffer stage fright Villa Away - you know us - New manager Syndrome. Adkins celebrates his 6 million a year pay increase by masterminding a win for his new team over Les Reed's strugglers. Yeah football is easy to predict
JackFrost Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Maybe alpine meant the next 5 games? Sunderland Fulham stoke arsenal Aston villa I can't see us winning any of those. I can see us beating Sunderland and Villa. Sunderland are out of form and Villa are just a poor side, especially if Darren Bent is still out of favour, or even at the club.

Saint Charlie Posted 9 December, 2012 Author Posted 9 December, 2012 He will be back spouting his bile soon, probably the next time we lose. Afterall, all the teams we beat are rubbish etc, there is a serious problem at Saints, Fonte/Lambert/Yoshida/Schneiderlin arent good enough and our transfers are worse than Readings.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Maybe alpine meant the next 5 games? Sunderland Fulham stoke arsenal Aston villa I can't see us winning any of those. Win, draw, draw, lose, win- 8 points
Saint Garrett Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 QPR - W 1-2 Newcastle - D 1-1 Norwich - W 2-1 Liverpool - L 3-1 Reading - W 3-0 10 points and out the relegation zone.....(heres hoping!) Cheers
NickG Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 QPR - D Newcastle - L Norwich - L Liverpool - D Reading - L 2 points. Adkins gone either following QPR or Reading. he never learns, has he ever been right?
Saint Charlie Posted 9 December, 2012 Author Posted 9 December, 2012 No, and on closer inspection how bizarre to suggest we would lose all the home games but get points from the aways?! Clearly just a troll, as we all know.
S-Clarke Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 If we'd have achived what Alpine had predicted, he'd be all over this thread (and 100's more) posting his drivvel. I just find it really, really odd that you only hear from himn when things are going bad. He silentley slips into the background when it's all ok. I don't think he's a troll, I think he's a genuine fan - but he has serious issues. But this run of form has been terrific, we're starting to perform like the side I believed we were at the start of the season. I think our attack is top half mid-table if I'm honest, and now that we've got the ''balance'' sorted between attack and defense, we look a much more drilled outfit. We looked much more inline with the premiership than Reading did yesterday for example. This season will probably still be a struggle, but the important thing for me is that we've got our heads above water going into a busy Christmas period.

If we are going to have a witchhunt for the bed wetters it is not just Alpine who posts a lot less when we win.
S-Clarke Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 If we are going to have a witchhunt for the bed wetters it is not just Alpine who posts a lot less when we win. In terms of consistency, Alpine is right up there!
Colbury Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Cheers You got 2 outcomes wrong, poor predictions IMO.
ericofarabia Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 In terms of consistency, Alpine is right up there! Champions League qualification spot without a doubt.
Saint Garrett Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 You got 2 outcomes wrong, poor predictions IMO. Ha, well swap Newcastle and Norwich round and pretty much spot on !
SuperMikey Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 I'd take... QPR - Win Newcastle - Lose Norwich - Win Liverpool - Lose Reading - Win I wasn't too far off!
Saint Charlie Posted 9 December, 2012 Author Posted 9 December, 2012 In terms of consistency, Alpine is right up there! He certainly has a consistency about himself.
Cabrone Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 If we are going to have a witchhunt for the bed wetters it is not just Alpine who posts a lot less when we win. Yes, after the last 5 games I wonder what Delldays' views on Nigel Adkins are now? If I remember he was posting 'sack him' every 5 minutes a few weeks ago. Seems to have gone a bit quiet recently.
the stain Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 I wasn't too far off! You were 40% off. That's quite a lot in my book. If I went into a shop and saw an item that was 40% off, I'd think "that's quite a lot off".
Restark19 Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 You were 40% off. That's quite a lot in my book. If I went into a shop and saw an item that was 40% off, I'd think "that's quite a lot off". He was only 1 point off though haha
the stain Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 He was only 1 point off though haha One point off means he was still wrong. And besides, if you sat a maths exam and got the right answer but your working was all wrong, would you be deemed to be right or wrong? Haha! F you!
Dr Who? Posted 9 December, 2012 Posted 9 December, 2012 Some pretty poor support on here for the lads, I am glad Nigel Adkins and the players have more fight than most of you lot. COYR!!
NickG Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 entertaining thread ! if ever any doubt which posters are; -consistently wrong in their predictions - regularly display their lack of knowledge and understanding - are negative for the sake of it - claim others are unrealistic when faced with a coherent argument look no further, alps and his protege DD, got it wrong......again!
Thedelldays Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 entertaining thread !if ever any doubt which posters are;-consistently wrong in their predictions- regularly display their lack of knowledge and understanding- are negative for the sake of it- claim others are unrealistic when faced with a coherent argumentlook no further, alps and his protege DD, got it wrong......again!oh well.....hardly bothered what so ever
saints_is_the_south Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Maybe alpine meant the next 5 games? Sunderland Fulham stoke arsenal Aston villa I can't see us winning any of those. Sunderland - W Fulham - D Stoke - L Arsenal - D Villa - W That would take us up to 23 points. Probably only another 15 points required from there to secure survival, I reckon it is going to be a low total to stay up this season, around 35-37 points. 40 will definitely be more than enough.
Draino76 Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Sunderland Win Fulham Win stoke Win arsenal Win Aston villa Win
Dig Dig Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 1 point is what we'll get from those games. Norwich will be that home game. good prediction mate
Baldbarbarian Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Sunderland Win Fulham Win stoke Win arsenal Win Aston villa Win That would be fantastic but I reckon Sunderland Win Fulham Draw Stoke Lose Arsenal Lose Villa Win
Tom28 Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 QPR - D Newcastle - L Norwich - L Liverpool - D Reading - L 2 points. Adkins gone either following QPR or Reading. Every result wrong. Shows you know nowt.
St Lej Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Lol at Alpine. What a complete and utter clown. The man who said we'd bottle it in the league 1 and championship promotion races, comes up trumps again with a totally illogical set of predictions. The annoying thing is he bases his predictions on nothing but his own pure negative outlook on everything saints related. Bizarre poster
Jack Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Sunderland 2-0 Fulham 1-2 Stoke 2-1 Arsenal 1-3 Aston Villa 1-1 7 points, showing plenty enough to believe we'll stay up.
Minty Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Careful peeps, could it be that Alps' incessant negativity is actually the driving force behind our climb back up the leagues...? How f*cked up would that be?
Halo Stickman Posted 10 December, 2012 Posted 10 December, 2012 Careful peeps, could it be that Alps' incessant negativity is actually the driving force behind our climb back up the leagues...? How f*cked up would that be? He’s heading up his latest motivational seminar as we speak
