View From The Top Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Let's not be fearful and go balls out for the win in the 2nd half.
Saints Fan Dan Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Pretty decent methinks. Swansea are giving the ball away a lot, impressed with Shaw and Lallana's backtracking. Think we'd have scored had the team been expecting Ramirez's free kick to be delivered that way.
forever a red and white Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 A little bit of confidence just creeping back in with a few more players back from injury.
Thedelldays Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 look pretty solid.....can easily win this...have to
Ohio Saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Hopefully a game without too much panic will help Gaston find his bearings in this team. A little more stability in this game can't hurt anyone.
gjphilsaint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Only if you don't take the quality of opposition into account. You can only play against the team infront of you. Would have taken a good preformance(s) against WBA, Fulham or Wigan surely?
latter day saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 happy with that so far.solid performance from everyone,no panic when on the ball. Puncheon been a bit quiet, hope he steps it up in 2nd half
egg Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I would have taken 0-0 at half time. A scrappy goal off someones arse and a 1-0 win will do for me.
SaintsAhoy Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Saintsplayer's Solent commentary down or is it just my pc being an arse?
CanadaSaint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 We are playing well, but I am thinking more and more that Lallana is a bit overrated, he's good, but defensively he is poor, he's a bit weak on the ball, has no confidence in his shooting and takes an age to pull the trigger. It may just be confidence but his passing has been really poor lately too. I think his problem is between his ears because he certainly has the talent. He seems to have issues with concentration and confidence. On the concentration front he does a lot of ball watching, so his mark often heads upfield without him and we end up with a two-on-one down that flank. Even when he gets back to defend he's too reactive because he doesn't see his man making a run inside. On the confidence front he has the ability to take guys on and to shoot on sight - we've seen him do both very effectively - but he too often doubles back and the chance is gone. But he's been like it for ages so I don't know who can get between those ears.
Hamilton Saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Saintsplayer's Solent commentary down or is it just my pc being an arse? Me, too - so frustrating!
alpine_saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 look pretty solid.....can easily win this...have to Now there is tempting fate...
Window Cleaner Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Saintsplayer's Solent commentary down or is it just my pc being an arse? no, looks like it's down
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Cork plays ball out wide then goes forward 15-20 yards leaving only MS to cover if we lose possession which we very nearly did. I'd really like the 2 CM to sit and hold
del boy Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 i just want to get past the 63rd min - when I thought MS would get his second yellow
Ohio Saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I can hardly follow a bloody thing here.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I can see JWP replacing Cork around the hour mark.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Great chance for Swansea. Blazed over from 18 yards by Routledge. A let off that
St Chalet Posted 10 November, 2012 Author Posted 10 November, 2012 Come on Saints, just ****ing score!
Saints Fan Dan Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Nice round of Nathan Dyer, he robs from the Skates!
Thedelldays Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 noticing on my dodgy stream that cork is winning the ball higher up the pitch
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Chance for saints ruined there. Didn't make the most of it. Corner.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 MS lucky to get away with a foul there. No yellow
St Chalet Posted 10 November, 2012 Author Posted 10 November, 2012 MS lucky to get away with a foul there. No yellow He must be on very thin ice.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Great block from a ramirez shot. Getting closer.
Saints Fan Dan Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 We're ****ing around, doing Arsenal style moves, too many passes not shooting.
RobM Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 A little too much confidence in the case of Ramirez, perhaps.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Ramirez just trying a little too hard at times, but looking most likely to score.
alpine_saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 We're ****ing around, doing Arsenal style moves, too many passes not shooting. Typical of a lack of confidence in the team.
Webby Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Lallana booked for simulation. For me that's a pen.
latter day saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 get in ya bastard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
