I'll be in the back of the Chapel stand giving Nigel Adkins 100% of my support.

 

I don't care if we finish this season in 17th on goal difference under Nigel. After eighteen months of, at times, sensational football, and the most inspiring period in my life as a fan of this club, Nigel Adkins deserves OUR support until such times as he or the Chairman decides the game is up.

 

Life is not a one-way street in which you can take. There are time when you also have to give.

 

As someone who has experienced failure and success in pretty much equal measure, I can imagine what Nigel is going through right now. He's questioning his own ability. He's wondering if all those qualities that guided our success are those that will work now. And the thing is they should. Because if there is any justice, a good, gracious man who delivers nothing but positivity should be rewarded.

 

And just maybe what he needs right now is to look around a football stadium and see a recognition of his contribution to putting this football club back on the map, in the vocal support of 28,000 grateful friends.

 

Come on Nigel - turn it around and prove the doubters wrong. And shove the speculation back down the throats of the hacks who circle like vultures while adding nothing of value to our club.

I'm neither a Goolie dissenter nor fully in the Adkins-out camp, Diggory. I firmly hope he can register a win on Saturday to turn it around, the man is top class. And I actually think we will.

it makes you wonder how much effect the fans can have on a chairman - i for one was moved by the chanting for adkins - it was well deserved in my opinion and a chairman hearing a managers name being chanted by the paying fans must have an impact however small

Dear mods, is there anything we can do to prevent attention seeking posters who don't actually support Saints from posting about Saints related matters that he doesn't understand?

 

I'm not even sure if he could pick out our players in a line up.

 

Maybe there is a hedge trimming forum he can go on instead that you can recommend as this is more inline with what said poster will be doing on a Saturday afternoon.

I dont start threads telling people how I intend to support the team and how you should do as well.

 

Last post of the day... perhaps you could show where LGTC tells anyone how to do anything?

Personally I'd rather read one of his rabble rousing posts than some of the endless navel gazing, wrist slitting crap I read on here...

I replied to this thread i good faith. The opening post clearly sets out his own opinion and how he thinks his opinion could affect the club. At no point does he tell you how you should be supporting the team. The tone in fact is very very similar to your quote above - stating your opinion and linking it to an affect on something.

I have no problem with people having something negative to say, in fact I welcome it as it means people can have a discussion. But when it is constant and amongst multiple threads its just unecessary. If you were having a conversation with a group of people in a street, you wouldn't just carry on and on and on saying the same things over and over again would you ?!

Look at some of the points above about me being persistently negative. It annoys people.

 

Why does the main site have to be clogged with repeated threads like this. They are annoying too.

 

I dont give a damn what LGTCs plans for Saturday are. And I care even less about what he thinks about how the rest of our Saturdays should look like.

 

The "Adkins Out" threads following the latest defeat all get locked.

 

The mods are forever trying to consolidate themes to a single thread.

 

Anyway, I promised to leave quietly...

Sat in a Bar on The Beach watching the game with a few like minded Saints Fans, hoping and praying for a win regardless of what our views are on whether it keeps NA in a job (me - I hope he stays).

 

If it all goes mammaries up at least I'll be able to ogle the bikini clad dolly birds instead as way of commiserating - although bizarrely its probably what I'll be doing if we win as well, but with a bigger smile on my face!!

No, it's just an opinion. If it was a lecture, it would be something like:

 

I want to see everyone give Nigel Adkins their backing. No dissenting voices, no booing, he's earned OUR support FFS!
