SNSUN Posted 8 November, 2012 Share Posted 8 November, 2012 What do you lads do, wet shave or dry shave? Which is better? When I started shaving I was given an electric shaver, but it developed a nick in the foil covering and shred my face to pieces. Irregardless I bought another, identical model (more fool me) and the exact same thing happened. It put me right off electric shaves. Since then I'm a wet shave fan, Gillette Mac 3, which gives a lovely close shave. I have mild eczema, so I only shave once a week or so, and wet shaves go through the growth no problem. That said, I'm tempted to reinvest in an electric shaver and go back to dry shaving, which is quicker and cheaper. What do you lot reckon?
ericofarabia Posted 8 November, 2012 Share Posted 8 November, 2012 I let my pubes grow au natural. Did shave once, before my vasectomy and not having been briefed on where to shave did the whole lot - not a good look at all . And I nearly saved the surgeon the job by cutting one of my dangleberrys. So I guess Dry Shave would be best, it might even be nice!! Sounds a better option than Waxing. Strange topic. gaz Posted 8 November, 2012 Share Posted 8 November, 2012 I have one of those Wilkinson Sword wet razors (the Quattro Titanium Precision) with an electric beard trimmer in the handle, its brilliant for cutting through the 3-4day length before using the blades for the close finish. Best of both worlds and doesn't rip my face apart.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 8 November, 2012 Share Posted 8 November, 2012 I don't shave often, I let my fluff grow into a beard and then use a hair clipper to remove the growth. I look about 4 years old if I shave properly...

latter day saint Posted 8 November, 2012 Share Posted 8 November, 2012 i hate shaving & usually let my stubble grow long enough to be able to use my hair clippers on it so i can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. i havent bothered for the last month so have grown my 1st full beard & now look like David Bellamy. if i need to have a wet shave i use shave oil & shave gel from King of Shaves & a Mach3 or i cut up badly around my neck.
