I don't,we are in serious trouble and anybody praying that Adkins can get us out of trouble are delusional, just watching last nights game will show you that.....there was nothing positive to come out of that game and we are in serious danger of being cut adrift.

Rob Jones‏@msnsportrob Hoping the Adkins rumours are just that, rumours. It would be a travesty. He’s done wonders there.

The heart says this.

for the first time, the eyes last night told me something different

Posted (edited)

Nixon was just asked if there are any truth in the rumours and he said "i expect this to happen"

Could be gospel, could be a nothing comment from a lying journalist. I'll leave you to decide.

edit. Now tweeted "heard he would go last night from someone with an interest in the scene. Expect some news today"

Alan Nixon got everything wrong about us, and this is negative news, so I'm filing it in the "bullsh*t from lying journo" pile.

Apart from getting the majority of our transfer dealings correct.

damn nixon has gotten everything right about us lately

i guess this is the end of the road for nige

Gutted. I think we'll get relegated whoever the manager is so we may as well have some CONTINUITY and LOYALTY and keep the man that has dragged us to the Premier League from 20th in League One.

I've done the same.

Adkins still at the #SaintsFC helm despite mounting speculation over his future. Expecting to see him at Thursday's pre-match press conf.

become..it always has...when wotte was moved on...were you disappointed then...?
I must have missed Wotte getting us promoted two years on the trot, scoring loads, playing decent football, coming across as a bright, articulate young manager. Can you remind us about all those times as you love that comparison so much?

Good to hear.

I really hope we do not sack the man who is statistically the best post war manager of the club.

Fantastic. Really want Nigel to turn it around and believe he is more than capable.

Walking out the ground last night and seeing NA walk half way across the pitch, said to the lads I was with, 'that's a good-bye wave'.

Top bloke, thanks and good luck in the future.

Whole club needs to have a look at itself today, Nige has carried the can for multiple failings IMHO.

You can probably lock in swansea as his last game if we lose tbh

Much as I'm disappointed with the way things have gone so far this season I'd prefer Adkins to stay. Stability might be preferable to upheaval right now.

Good. I'd rather go down with him in charge, and give him another year. If he doesn't look as if he will bring us back up, that is the time to sack him. We're trying to build a long term successful club here ...not just a vehicle for some temporary mercenary. That means trusting and supporting someone, even if they have a poor spell.

Some of you lot need to have a word with yourselves. Well done to the fans singing his name last night btw.

Totally, totally agree.

I said the same thing and agree wholeheartedly with your last comment.

Our next 6 fixtures are, on paper, easier than our last 10. I'd like Nigel to stay. Ramirez has just returned. Nigel needs a chance to build the side around him.

100% agree with this. Some people on here have a short memory.

so, you would rather go down..and MAYBE come back up..but sack him if we dont....rather than just try and stay up the first time..

we are talking about a multi-million pound business with peoples jobs at stake here

Agree. However, if we keep getting dicked then players confidence in the manager will be smashed to bits and will linger on next season.

maybe wotte could have if he had the money adkins did...we were happy NOT to give him a chance

Its not the NA being sacked that would really worry me (though I'd be disappointed) its the Plan B that would be really worrying. Les Reed and Dean Wilkins caretaker manager for our upcoming important games, we tried with Wilkins once before, please note again. The time for Adkins to have gone was 3 or 4 weeks ago, not now.

Quite right. I think Ken has forgotten that changing manager will definitely ensure our survival this season.
