I don't follow fashion trends because I wear what I like and what suits me. I am not a lemming.

 

Unfortunately many people don't understand the wisdom of this attitude - hence the vomit-inducing sights often on display.

 

I would put men with beer bellies wearing vests / skimpy tee shirts and / or shorts in this bracket. Equally offensive.

I wear thongs, but i'm not overweight and I wear a belt when I don't trust my trousers. I fail to see why I have no pride based on my choice of underwear? I find them a lot more comfortable.

And FWIW, I am in the french knickers camp. always have been, always will. Mrs Hamster has a pair with Saints motif on them, she keeps them for when she wants something, like a new hoover or the fuse in her iron needs changing.
