Asaint4ever Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 My Team: Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Cork Schneiderlin Puncheon Lallana Lambert Subs: K. Davis Jos S. Davis Mayuka JWP Lee Jay-Rod COYR!! 10 players? i think we need 11 with ramirez in the squad?
kenneth_kenobi Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Maybe we should do a Wigan and play 3 Centre Backs and 2 Wing Backs, 2 Defensive Mids, 1 Attacking Mid, Ramirez and SRL.....
T.REX Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 If anyone's got a few spare minutes, would love some feedback: http://pythagorasinfootballboots.wordpress.com/2012/11/10/southampton-vs-swansea-city-premier-league-match-preview-2/ No worries, if not. COYR!
davefizzy14 Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 10 players? i think we need 11 with ramirez in the squad? Dam, I forgot Gaston, yeah in the hole behind Rickie
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 If anyone's got a few spare minutes, would love some feedback: http://pythagorasinfootballboots.wordpress.com/2012/11/10/southampton-vs-swansea-city-premier-league-match-preview-2/ No worries, if not. COYR! That is an excellent article. Very well written. Liked the other articles too. I had completely forgotten about that goal by Delap. Like the art work especially the cartoon strip of Matty. You need to write more! I'll follow your blog on Google Reader! Great work!
itchen Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Guardian exclusive: Nigel's positive. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/nov/09/nigel-adkins-relegation-dogfight-saints-swansea
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 As far as the game goes today I fancy Ricky to bag a brace today. So confident, I have made him my captain in my Fantasy team :-)
itchen_dan Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Maybe we should do a Wigan and play 3 Centre Backs and 2 Wing Backs, 2 Defensive Mids, 1 Attacking Mid, Ramirez and SRL..... I shall suggest something similar.
Roger Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I shall suggest something similar. Clueless leaving lambert out. He looked better Monday and Rodriquez was pants.
AndyD Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I shall suggest something similar. Itchen Dan, I usually respect your transfer insider knowledge and contributions BUT how on earth can you justify playing Fox and Davis - they have been underperforming for weeks. Shaw and Cork for me ;-)
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I shall suggest something similar. It's all about opinions I suppose but leaving out Rickie is ridiculous IMO.
Window Cleaner Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 It's all about opinions I suppose but leaving out Rickie is ridiculous IMO. Not that ridiculous based on what I saw of him at West Brom. Too easily managed by decent defenders.
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Not that ridiculous based on what I saw of him at West Brom. Too easily managed by decent defenders. I repeat, each has their own opinions.
Roger Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Not that ridiculous based on what I saw of him at West Brom. Too easily managed by decent defenders. Lambert set Lallana up on goal, hit shot on target and hit bar with good attempt. What did jay rod do?
Window Cleaner Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Lambert set Lallana up on goal, hit shot on target and hit bar with good attempt. What did jay rod do? Not much either and therein lies the problem. When Lambert is a bit off colour we don't have very much in the last 30 yards. Everybody knows that I think that JRod was a total waste of cash. Lambert did send in a very weak looking header though which he would have surely scored on one of his better days. Looks generally out of sorts right now. I'd start with Mayuka, let him run at a slow defence a bit.
CWD Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Gaza Clyne Fonte Yoshida Fox Schniederlin Davis Puncheon Ramirez Lallana Lambert Subs: Boruc, Hooiveld, Shaw, Cork, Chaplow, Mayuka, Rodriguez So excited to be back at St Mary's today! COYR!

For what it's worth lambert does well with a quick player with him like Waigo and Antonio. So play mayuka and lambert. Or mayuka on wing
trousers Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I repeat, each has their own opinions. How can someone else's opinion be both valid and ridiculous at the same time?
trousers Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 On the train with Trousers junior (aka 'Shorts'). Last game we went to was the 4-1 drubbing of Villa. 3-1 to Saints today. COYR!!!

For what it's worth lambert does well with a quick player with him like Waigo and Antonio. So play mayuka and lambert. Or mayuka on wing You can't take any information from that joke team we put out at Leeds, we went there to lose and so we did.I expect the tea lady picked the team based on her CM2004 experience..
Saint Garrett Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Really hope we don't start 442 today.
Badger Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 I'll be very disappointed if Lambert or Gazzaniga are not in the starting line up. Be interesting if NA starts Shaw at LB, but I expect he will go with the more experienced, safer, option of Fox.
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 How can someone else's opinion be both valid and ridiculous at the same time? Very pedantic. It's my opinion of their opinion. Each has their own and are entitled to them. Nigel's is the one that matters and I think Rodriguez may be replaced by puncheon today.
ericofarabia Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Not that ridiculous based on what I saw of him at West Brom. Too easily managed by decent defenders. We are at home, they have key defenders out (I believe) Feed The Lamb and he will score. Nice role reversal The Lamb screwing the sheep ****gers!! COYS
CB Fry Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 The good news is if Swansea win, they'll go into the top ten, instantly qualifying them as one of the league's megaclubs that we had no right to get anything against and I can't believe how unrealistic people are and did you know in our first eleven games we have played etc etc.

The EPL, BBC and the world in general are all against us. It's a conspiracy I tell ya.
ThreeSixty Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 More embarrassing Cortese bashing on Sky. More insulting to Nige than anything else.

Pamplemousse Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Adam Blackmore @bigadamsport I've heard there will be changes to #saintsfc team - Cork set to feature & Puncheon will return I'm told . Ready for match day !!!

THEVMAN Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 And there was me thinking you were Nigel's fluffer... Me and him fell out when he wouldn't let me pick the team anymore.
Dig Dig Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 What was said? Benali and editor of Echo suggesting Cortese picks the side by basically saying that that they hope he isn't. MLT saying it might be true on the basis that Guly started up front instead of Lambert vs. City. Laughable really.
isleowightsaint Posted 10 November, 2012 Posted 10 November, 2012 Simon Peach @SimonPeach Gazzaniga & Davis out to warm-up at St Mary's. No Boruc for #SaintsFC then #PAsoccer
