Olly Lancashire's shock tweet about Southampton Football Club

I'm sure he has been told by his friend who are currently at the club that cortese is picking the team and is a complete arse hole

That's nothing that some of us have been saying for a long time is it.

Adkins play for words in his last two interviews make you wonder.

Last week it was " we are trying to field a winning side" if it was just him picking the team I think he would be man enough to take full responsibility.

And tonight when he made it quite clear how quality (HE) thinks lambert is. (Even if some people don't )

Cortese and his side kick are calling all the shots with the team. If they weren't Nigel would have been shown the door weeks ago.

The worry is when they shaft Adkins they won't be able to get a decent manager who will work under Cortese.

It's common knowledge in the footballing world he's a nastly piece of work and there's many people who have been shafted by him who will be quick to advise any potential managers to steer well clear.

Adkins bless him was employed as a yes man and it was to bigger job for him to turn down.

It wouldn't surprise me if you see Adkins resign before he is sacked.

The reason why larder left was cortese doing.

Not the fabricated story he slept with a players wife lol.

Like I have said for a very long time. The truth will come out in the end and it won't be long as Cortese is digging him self deeper and deeper and slowlY losing his supporters by the day.

Go on then, tell us. You, yourself, tell us. What is this oh so deep and dark secret. He does the monster mash at times other and Halloween? He sells Yellow Bentines? He makes children smell of hammers?

Lol I agree!

Oh and Colin these are my opinions and mine alone.

It just shows you how clueless the fans are to what really has and is going on.

If you have no experiences of the man then I don't expe t you to understand. Just listen to people that have and then make up your own mind.

Please, do go on and enlighten us.

Most players at the club actually like Cortese, so whether he's a c*ck or not to the rest of the staff, it doesn't appear to affect or apply to them.

Everything I've heard suggests that Cortese ensures the players are treated like kings; its VIP all the way for them.

The other staff? Not so much, no.

Jake Thompson is the one I'm looking forward to.

Jake Thomson is very happily leading Newport County back into the football league, I'd appreciate it if you didn't traumatise him at this important time.

Though he did get dropped to the bench on Tuesday for their 6-2 win against Cambridge United, so he might not be in the best mood.

I know who h is, not sure that I give a sh*t about his opinion though. Woeful, woeful footballer.

He's the only player I've ever seen try and put a ball out for a throw in near the half-way line and concede a corner.

Everyone else who was at Swindon as we finally bottomed out in Pardew's early days probably remembers it well too.

Gordon Bennett what a game that was. Luckily I'd had a few to numb the pain and the weather was really nice, in the low 20s for an evening game in September I think.

Seem to remember everyone chanting for a substitution for about half an hour before Pardew eventually sent on Rasiak and Saganowski with 5 minutes left. I reckon that was pretty much the lowest Saints sank to. Losing at home to Bristol Rovers a couple of weeks later was pretty bad but at least we were in that game.

I remember that. Think the chant was "make a change" remember it was kicking off at HT at the burger van. Dark days.

David.....if you don't bold up the quote or add ..... to it and just leave it, it might not always bugger up mate.

if you mean the split bold text - in Turkish's quote ..?

it's not that I'm arguing about OL's tenure at the club, but merely disagreeing with Turkish's assumption that a teenage footballer is able to make an accurate character assessment of the club's chairman......

When the hell did pardew have rasiak and saganowski available, did they leave before Pardew was in charge.

Totally agree this was the worst I've ever witnessed! Matt Paterson marking his own player did t help much either !

The chant was "Duh-luh-luh-luh-luh....... SUBSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!". Aided by the rolling hands action.

By an absolute mile, the highlight of the night.

The rolling hands were great.

I went with a friend who supports Liverpool. They were not impressed by us that night.
