alpine_saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Share Posted 5 November, 2012 lol most of our players will jump ship if we go down B*ll*cks. Who would have them ? They are more than clearly demonstrating their inability to compete at this level, currently. I dont think clubs will be queueing up for Lallana in January. I dont think clubs will be queueing up for Lallana in January. I think Gaston would leave, Lallana has shown enough in previous games to pickup some suitors. Can imagien Clyne will be picked off, as well as Morgan - but not if he continues to play like that. W-P will probably be looked at, and maybe even Shaw. Basically anyone who has looked decent this season will be gone.

Ramirez is an expensive unknown, and Lallana has shown he has a fundamental weakness to his game - tracking back and defending - since Day 1. del boy Posted 5 November, 2012 Share Posted 5 November, 2012 ...but had a proper go at this premier league thing. At the moment, I don't think we have. I think NA is a victim of his own success - he went and got us promoted at least one season before we were ready
Micky Posted 5 November, 2012 Share Posted 5 November, 2012 Given the amount of time and money put in to bringing him to the club Gaston has hardly set the world on fire. Could be a big money loss come relegation, hope there is a sensible wage clause written into his contract.

Very open and attacking formation. Just naive, as NA said tonight, he is a better manager after tonights game. Always learning and always positive. COYR. Pat from Poole Posted 5 November, 2012 Share Posted 5 November, 2012 Lambert would definitely be snapped up by a Prem club if we go down. Which would be a massive miss for us, as he would get 25 goals next season in the Championship.

ant Posted 6 November, 2012 Share Posted 6 November, 2012 Trouble is, though it's not much fun being a small fish in the big pond and getting beaten every week, in the long term it's not sustainable to be stuck with sharks in a puddle - as we proved last time. The water's a metaphor for money, if that wasn't clear enough.
