Absolute ******

Exposed my arse. Exposed to being a pants footballer maybe

All he does is try to bomb forward and can't be bothered to put the effort in to getting back when he gives away the ball.

This so called left foot he has to? What's his cross ratio!? 1 in 10 maybe.

He's a donkey who can't defend to save his life.

How you can blame his incompetence on Lallana is beyond me.

You could play Gareth bale on front of him and he'd still be a pile of ****.

Adkins has clearly seen he is not up to it and the only reason he brought shaw on last night was he obviously has him in his plans to start the next game.

If you had swapped Clyne and fox over last night fox would have been battered down the right even though Clyne was coping perfectly ok.

It's clear that other clubs are picking Fox out as our week link and taking advantage of it as everything went down that side last night as its clear he's out of his depth

You have to be, without doubt, one of the biggest turdtalkers on here, if not the biggest. I can't even be bothered to debate the point as you're clearly right and everyone else is wrong.

You've clearly little grasp on reality, let alone football. Probably best you keep believing in what you're saying as it's best for everyone.

One of my ambitions for the season is to see Fox stopping someone from putting a cross in. It would be awesome if he could do that for me! Just one time. I would give him standing ovation!

To avoid disappointment, aim lower is my advice.

You are 100% correct

Thanks

Would be good move. For us and him. He's too wasteful to make it in the Prem at the moment (and not great at marking) but dead ball delivery not bad.

Would leave us with a massive lack of cover should shaw get injured or have a dip in form, all we'd have to cover is an untired centre half and a youth team player.

If you could bring in competition for Shaw and get rid of Fox you'd have done some good business!

Looks a constant liability and has that smug look about him. It's clear you were trying to get rid in the summer and bring in Buttner and have Shaw as his competition. Maybe the scouts have been working hard and have found a new alternative.

and why would he be happy to sit on the bench at his age.....that is probably why he went to the NPC anyway and not do a michael owen

He's been happy to sit on the bench most seasons since he left us and I have no reason to believe our bench is any less comfortable especially now we have them flash new chairs. the reason he is playing in the Championship is simply that his last few loans in the prem have shown him to no longer be upto the job

He is about 4.6 times better than Danny Fox.

Didn't say he wasn't was just saying that he'd be more than happy to sit on our bench but isn't up to premier league standards much like Fox in fact.

I'm a Fox fan but Fox out and someone like Martin Olsson in.... :)

Potential chance of player + cash deal with Blackburn as well?

That would be a very good piece of business in this window!

Now Olsson I wouldn't expect to come here and sit on the bench behind a 17 year old and therin lies the problem rplacing fox with a player who is good enough to play in the premier league is very difficult when they know that Shaw is first choice so they will be waiting for him to break/be sold/loose form.

Definitely a Championship player, although before Shaw came in he wasn't awful

Sorry but he really was awful! Seemed content to just not listen to anyone around him and play 5 yards further up the pitch than the other 3 on the back line, followed by having no pace to get back and cover, no ability to close someone done or make a tackle firmly puts in that awful LB category. Got away with it in the champ because the defence could play to cover it (or more importantly the ball was at the other end of the pitch where no one would notice), found out embarrassingly this season and we will do well to get the money we spent on him back. Cannot be forgiven for Arsenal away where half the goals came down from the right because Fox was no where, proven by the fact he was there to score at half time when he should have been at LB...

There seems to be a commonly held view that the only players we must buy are those who are better than our first choicers. I think think this is to miss the point a little. We need strength in depth to cover positions, so therefore cover for Shaw at LB could conceivably not be as good as him but better than Fox. This applies to other positions in my view too. Obviously, the best scenario is to improve the first team, but this seems fairly settled, assuming we hang on to our best players.

First off, I don't think Fox is as bad as some are stating - he's perfectly good cover for Shaw. However, Clyne did exceptionally well I thought at LB and Richardson appears to still be around for RB duties, plus there's Cork and Yoshi who could step in too. If Fox is to go, I'm not convinced we'll see a new face in this window.

If Fox does leave we will get someone else in. We only have a 17yr old as starter and no back up, we wouldn't let out backup leave and cover it with a centre back.

Clyne did a solid enough job there.

Apparently Forren has played there in the past also.

Not ideal granted, but it wouldn't be the end of the world I guess.
