Thedelldays Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Fox is so cra.p hes done alright to be fair....just made another blocl
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 We need to make the ball stick in thrir half more
norwaysaint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Lambert ****s up, Fox saves it. Who'd've guessed?
Turkish Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Well done Fox! Yep, got Rickie out of trouble there, of course nothing will be said about the crap pass.
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Fox is so cra.p Whats he done wrong do far ? Is Guly playing poorly too ?
Saint Martini Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Too much dribbling on our own half! First Lambert with a awful pass, then Ramirez taking on three players half-way our own half. Rookie mistakes....
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 The rest of the team do not help the defence out, by giving the ball away soooo much!
Turkish Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 WBA's shooting is poor shhhh!! Too early for that!
laughba Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I think Fox is looking quality defensively...
Aura Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Whats he done wrong do far ? Is Guly playing poorly too ? always leaves the flank to free there running down it far to often
badgerx16 Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Is Guly playing poorly too ? So far he's been completely invisible - not had a touch.
egg Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Fox is so cra.p Not tonight so far. Lallana exposing him and horrible distribution from just about everyone dropping him in the sh:t.
Turkish Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 always leaves the flank to free there running down it far to often Not that he's playing the defensive system we play by tucking inside and it's Lallanas job to cut off the flank then?
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 always leaves the flank to free there running down it far to often When has he done that then tonight ?
Thedelldays Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 always leaves the flank to free there running down it far to often no he doesnt....the over lapping player coming down the wing should be lallana's man
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Not that he's playing the defensive system we play by tucking inside and it's Lallanas job to cut off the flank then? He could always go to the man on the ball allowing a pass round him into the box and behind the CBs TBF
KK the 2nd Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 How can Lallana and FOx be so bad and defending as a couple. Its like they don't know each others first name.... Samantha and Llama .... HTH
Lazlo78 Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Offside should have been given against Olsson - instead dangerous corners from WBA
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Until we stop Zonal marking we will leak goals from set pieces imo
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 That's better, more defending from the front!
Turkish Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 He could always go to the man on the ball allowing a pass round him into the box and behind the CBs TBF Yeah he should do that and leave a massive gap between him and the centre halves for them to run into inside the penality area. Then everyone will be happy the man on the ball is closed down.
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Yeah he should do that and leave a massive gap between him and the centre halves for them to run into inside the penality area. Exactly, but atleast he would keep the flank occupied
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Our promising start seems to be fading 0-0 I would take right now, first away point and first clean sheet.
Lazlo78 Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Yep, got Rickie out of trouble there, of course nothing will be said about the crap pass. Sry, just trying to work up a bit of enthusiasm about the team. Shan't happen again
alpine_saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 According to the Beeb, we have more possession than WBA. Still, you just have this feeling that the defensive mistake is round the corner. Sounds like Adam needs a game or two on the bench if he really is exposing Fox.
egg Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Not that he's playing the defensive system we play by tucking inside and it's Lallanas job to cut off the flank then? Quite. Any LB would look poor in this system and playing behind Lallana.
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 If a Saints fan could just run on the pitch and cut that silly ponytail off that would be great (ponyplat)
St Chalet Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Ramirez looks class on the ball Cursed him, lost possession three times since I said that.
laughba Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I reckon we should play Gazza in CM... Quality passer
Thedelldays Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 should have scored there....lambert with a decent header
KK the 2nd Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Gaston looks like he needs a match or two. Hope he makes me eat my words though ...
St Chalet Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Lambert should have scored, West Brom nearly do.
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Need to take these chances..... Where's Prutton!
SNSUN Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I'm watching the game in between chores. We haven't got the strikers in the game yet. Gazza looks solid, Lallana playing OK, but WBA have looked like the better team. We still seem to panic, as a team at the bottom of tha table could expect. Close by Lambert. Close by Odemwingie. Anyone else nervous?
Saint Martini Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Quite. Any LB would look poor in this system and playing behind Lallana. The thing with Lallana isn't even that he doesn't work enough, he just doesn't seem to understand what to do when defending.
Saint Garrett Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I'm watching the game in between chores. We haven't got the strikers in the game yet. Gazza looks solid, Lallana playing OK, but WBA have looked like the better team. We still seem to panic, as a team at the bottom of tha table could expect. Close by Lambert. Close by Odemwingie. Anyone else nervous? Sh!tting myself.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Been a cracking game of football so far. We've been decent.
dubai_phil Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Not tonight so far. Lallana exposing him and horrible distribution from just about everyone dropping him in the sh:t. AL has been all over the place leaving Fox with Jones (who AL should be marking) plus one every time we break down an attack PLTV summariser saying we show total lack of confidence MF oopt for the easy ball backwards every time instead of letting it run across their body & moving forwards Then we play hopeful hoofs up front Not looking good
Thedelldays Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I would go as far as saying that fox looks the part tonight..
