Liverpool FC define their Restricted View & Severely Restricted View seats as:

– Restricted View in Row 1 due to personnel movement.

– Restricted View elsewhere due to stanchions supporting the Upper Tier which impair the view of either goal.

– Severely Restricted View in rows 34 & 35 due to supporters standing up and down during the game resulting in a very limited view of the goals due to the overhang of the Upper Tier roof.

Please note tickets purchased for the QPR away fixture are not included in the qualifying criteria above.

Please also note that for any concessionary ticket purchased, proof of age will be required on entry into the stadium.

Tickets are limited to one ticket per applicable supporter, and a maximum of four tickets per transaction when purchasing on behalf of other applicable supporters.

There will be a total of 10 Loyalty Points awarded to supporters purchasing tickets for this fixture, which may be used to gain ticket priority on future ticket sales.

The customer number of each attending supporter must be given at the point of sale in order for Loyalty Points to be awarded. Points cannot be awarded to individual customer numbers retrospectively.

Expensive.

Annoying that we can only buy 4 tickets per transaction. There's a great picture doing the rounds on twitter of the view from the "severely restricted" seats. Needless to say I'd avoid at all costs.

It will only sell out if we go and pick up a few points in November. If we can pick up 10 points before we play Liverpool, then yes I think it'll sell out. Otherwise, I'll be surprised if we get 1500 up there. Although there was good numbers at Everton, and Liverpool is a cracking night out,

Do we know if they have barcode scanners or if they're ars*holes with checking ID/not letting people in with kids tickets?

Me and the chief did a lap after Everton away as we walked back to that pub, I can confirm its barcoded.

Yer think it'll be an expensive weekend, but another ground I havent been to before to tick off and always a good night out. Plus I have quite a few mates around Liverpool so go stay with them for the weekend. Be nice to get a result there.

Having seen Saints win there twice I've no motivation for doing it but if I hadn't have previously been then I'd go just to tick it off.

FFS why isn't QPR included?

When are the clowns going to start using the points?

Cant wait till March, what are they going to have

"supporters who purchased at least 8 tickets out of A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H games"

"Supporters who purchased 7 tickets"

Supporters who purchased 6 tickets" ect ect.

What is so hard about saying Customers with over x amount of points?

Don't worry, seen us get dicked on a much more regular basis!

many times over the years, particularly memorables ones being 7-1 around 1997, recall a 3-0 defeat in FA Cup 3rd round we took thousands up there for that.

3-2 win with David Hirst scoring was a good one.

Because the new ticketing system doesn't actually have the points system - as designed - built into it. When ST renewals were being processed, they had some sort of recognition of loyalty points on the home screen when you logged in, but that was solely on a "one point per pound spent" basis, which clearly isn't the basis they're using (and rightly so - the most expensive games are usually the ones everyone wants to go to).

I genuinely believe that, now they know the ticket system won't count up the points assigned to each game for them, they're now just making it up as they go along and hoping they don't cause a massive ****storm by ballsing everything up for a big game. They've been relatively fortunate so far that, as far as I can see, the majority of tickets for away games have been sold to those a) who most deserve them, and b) who put the most effort into getting them. A mate of mine got an email before the Sheffield Wednesday game which told him that tickets for the Wednesday game would give fans priority for any game in the next round.

They've decided not to bother giving anybody credit for trekking all the way up to Leeds for a reserve game as that game doesn't appear on the list, and there's no real sense in not including QPR in the process as most of the tickets for that game will have been sold by the time the Liverpool ones go on sale.

Has anyone actually bothered to keep a tally of how many "points" they're supposed to have?

well summed up mate, it is an absolute shambles, if i could be arsed, or if i miss out on any tickets, i'll be sending lots of angry emails to them, what is the point of offering "points" for sheff wed at home, and then Leeds away, and then just ignore those games?

the club is a joke when it comes to operational management.

I still don't quite understand why there isn't just a season ticket holder date and a general sale date myself. We aren't such a massive club that demand outstrips supply every away game and the loyalty scheme in place doesn't work for the reasons mentioned. By all means have a login for users linked to a server that can handle a few hundred people logging in from work on the date of sale but no more is required for us IMO. Having 5 different purchase dates and working out which mates have done which away days etc to all get tickets together each time puts me off even wanting to bother logging in.

I find it amusing that they invent a system that would have been genuinely useful over the last 2-3 years and then realise that the software they've paid a fortune for can't cope with it, but much like somewhere like North Korea, they can't admit they made a mistake because losing face would be their worst possible outcome, and so just carry on trying to push the relevance of the system anyway

Whilst making it about as complicated for me and you to buy footy tickets as it is to move house!

Got my 2 sorted this morning, took a lot of shouting at my computer though as the stupid queue system "was suspended" till about 10 this morning, aka it wasn't working after someone at the ticket office forgot to feed the internet hamsters.

Cheap drinks in Liverpool should make up for the price plus the restricted view option is hilarious!

Selling out the initial 2k would do for this one is it is a long trip on what will be a cold day...
