10 game milestone

Ten games is A milestone, the season is a COLLECTIVE of milestones. Our season is not over should we lose tonight but at this juncture we have to be honest and say that even though it has been a baptism of fire it has been a bit disappointing overall.

 

I do think we are capable of better but I don't think we should be looking for a scapegoat either.

The irony of your post must have gone right over your head. Not that such a response was totally unexpected from you.

 

Can I just make one thing clear though? The milestone for any poster with any common sense, balance and judgement is not 10 matches or 20 or 30, but when we have played all other teams home and away.

 

If you want to write off the season after it is a quarter of the way through, then more fool you. Altogether not in any way surprising given your past record, which is incidentally stuck, yet again.

 

Is it that black and white? In your mind, can you not contemplate a thread like this after 10 games as a "where have we been, where are we going discussion??" Especially so since plenty of people before the season started were rightly saying "let's not rush to any judgements, lets look at where we are after 10 games or so"? Its most odd, coming on a discussion board, and suggesting others shouldn't discuss things until the season is over as only then will we have an accurate view of the season. This is entirely what message boards are for, to talk complete b*llocks with people as you would down the pub.

 

Hypo raises a fair point; the thread title is pretty clear what the content is going to be, so its fairly easy to avoid.

Yet you are taking the time to respond to these threads in all their tedium. Ten games were the milestone for many so it is a legitimate topic for discussion. Your silly moans are infinitely more tiresome than any of these threads. Why not show some self control and just ignore them if they are not to your liking?

Yes exactly. I of course meant the milestone to assess how the season is going rather than the definitive milestone of the season. I suspect that wes has deliberately misinterpreted my comments.
