It's a new scheme the club have launched (there was a story about it on the OS, I'm surprised you didn't see it!) basically the club have implemented a new analytics tool that can match up and identify IP addresses of users of the saintsweb forum. If you say the wrong thing on here you'll have your access to the OS either limited or revoked totally.

Made me chuckle too. Almost as if the poster was thinking it was a strong indication that we had just done a Comet.

Laugh all you want but there was a very similar thread on the Woolworthsweb forum a few years ago and people mocked the OP, well we all know who had the last laugh there.

I’ve got a mate that was a moderator for jjbonline (was a rubbish forum where they all argued and thought they produced the best sports wear in the world) and their OS went pop over night, now their fans forum only has a few users and most of them are actually members of spots direct who are just pretending to be jjb fans and mocking them!

Still working for me. When I say "working", I mean, as sh1t as ever, but it's up & running. Perhaps the OP isn't on a super-duper connection speed. Anything less than 1.5 Meg connection and you might as well not bother, there's that much cr@p on the site so it takes ages to load. Anyone interested in all the cookies/3rd party content issues on the web at the moment, try installing Ghostery (from Ghostery.com) in either Firefox or Chrome (it doesn't work in IE but then IE is gash anyway). It shows you all the 3rd party content providers as you visit the page, and lets you block them if you want. The OS is bad, but then try the Echo website - I reckon there's content from 25 different providers on there.

It works again for me now, despite nothing having changed on my computer!

it does however say at the top "We've rebranded our website to provide you with a range of new and exclusive features."

Sounds liek something got reset.

I called it ominous because, as others have noted, previously the site would go down before big signings....or sackings.

Glad to see there's nothing like that happened :)
