Roger Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 For me is vital. I know he was in full training since a week ago so surely should be at least on bench Monday! The second half vs villa was like watching messi.
Turkish Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 he had a set back this morning and is unlikely to be back before christmas.
Roger Posted 1 November, 2012 Author Posted 1 November, 2012 he had a set back this morning and is unlikely to be back before christmas. Please tell me ur joking!
Turkish Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Please tell me ur joking! actually i am, he'll probably be fit in time to play for Uruguay in their game at the end of the month and come back injured.
Roger Posted 1 November, 2012 Author Posted 1 November, 2012 actually i am, he'll probably be fit in time to play for Uruguay in their game at the end of the month and come back injured. Right any sensible answers? Too important to joke

Appy Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 You need to stop making this same thread every week.
Roger Posted 1 November, 2012 Author Posted 1 November, 2012 You need to stop making this same thread every week. You need to realise it is vital to our season.
Colinjb Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 If we are to continue with our current 'outscore the opposition' approach he is key to it. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Was a complete joy to watch v Villa.
scotty Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 You need to realise it is vital to our season. ...and you need to realise that turks didn't say which christmas....
RonManager Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 You need to stop making this same thread every week. You need to realise it is vital to our season. You need to stop saying 'you need'. Consider yourselves 'shouted down'.
RonManager Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 ...and you need to realise that turks didn't say which christmas.... and you..
the stain Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 It's a shame that "shouting someone down" has become something to be proud of on this board. I think Rogers question is a fair and sensible one. It is important that we get Ramirez back ASAP and if anyone can shed light on the matter then that would be appreciated.
shirleysfc Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Someone's just posted on Saintslist that he's fit but will be starting at leftback.
Appy Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 You need to realise it is vital to our season. So because I don't make an identical thread about Ramirez every week I don't think he is vital to our season?
Roger Posted 1 November, 2012 Author Posted 1 November, 2012 So because I don't make an identical thread about Ramirez every week I don't think he is vital to our season? Jesus its a fair question. Just don't reply if you haven't got anything to add.

I said exactly this on another forum, but, unfortunately, I was 'shouted down'. It's a shame an' a sin , that's what it is.
The Kraken Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 I've heard he's put in a transfer request for January.
Dig Dig Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 His red blood cell count is 120:75 L/G so I think he will make the bench.
the stain Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 I've heard he's put in a transfer request for January. Lol! Very funny! Really funny, well done.

THINWHITEDUKE Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 He's living in the Hilton at Chilworth and has been driving himself around for at least 3 days and is in light training, source you may ask and I'm sure you lot will ask? My beloved nephew works on the desk there, updated me about an hour ago, speaks English very well too, (Gaston that is!!) Artur Boruc has moved out, got his own place apparently ( so he can smoke wherever he wants then )

He wanted the top suite the Hilton have but it wasn't available on his arrival, so he has two suites inter-connected @ £75 each per night, gutted for the poor lamb!
Jonnyboy Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 So he hasn't moved out and got a place yet? Bit worrying, doens't sound like hes here for the long term. Needs to get himself down Ikon, get himself a good local trollop. He'll neer leave.

adrian lord Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 So he hasn't moved out and got a place yet? Bit worrying, doens't sound like hes here for the long term. That was also my instant reaction.
Patrick Bateman Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Someone's just posted on Saintslist that he's fit but will be starting at leftback. SAINTSLIST?? Jesus! How and WHY are people still using that!? Bizarre, welcome to 1999.

shirleysfc Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 So he hasn't moved out and got a place yet? Bit worrying, doens't sound like hes here for the long term. Agreed, very worrying. This shows a lack of cohesive leadership at the club. Maybe we're up for sale?
shirleysfc Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 SAINTSLIST?? Jesus! How and WHY are people still using that!? Bizarre, welcome to 1999. It's the only place to get inside info, haven't you heard?
Colinjb Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 So he hasn't moved out and got a place yet? Bit worrying, doens't sound like hes here for the long term. Or he's following the example of George Burley. What is the favourite tipple of a Uruguayan I wonder...?
ART Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 This is not a joke but we are about to relive the Delgado saga with Ramirez going to be playing more for Uraguay than Saints. Just look at their schedule for the rest of the season, and, expect injury time taking up the rest with a game or two to make up for the 12 million transfer fee. Someone swore after Delgado finally departed that we'd never sign another South American again. It's coming back to haunt us.

Whoever it was, they were wrong years before we signed Ramirez.
shirleysfc Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Nice to see dune posting again by the way. Cheese on toast?
adrian lord Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 To be fair, Ramirez must be thinking he was totally duped when he agreed to sign, so no wonder he's still in the Hilton anxiously fingering his open air tickets. "Ah so dee famoosze Saints that playze at St Trafford?! Where so I sign, gringo?"

When Cortese said we'd be playing in Europe in 3 years time Ramirez didn't realise they were bringing back the Ango Italian Cup.
Miltonroader07 Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 so because i don't make an identical thread about ramirez every week i don't think he is vital to our season? boring
John Boy Saint Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Perhaps he has no domestic ability so hotel living might be right up his Strasse.
Turkish Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Anyone know when he's likely to be fit? When is Uruguays next game?
Mr X Posted 1 November, 2012 Posted 1 November, 2012 Ramerez is a glory buy that that Cortese had to push through once he'd put his money were his mouth was. A buy designed to appease the fans if this guy was so good united and arsenal would have had him on the radar he's a decent player but one pricey buy doesn't make a team. What's most tragic is the purchase of ramerez has cost us the opportunity of buying a decent defence as the money allocated is already gone!

Apparently you can't say that with any certainty on here; we didn't prioritise Ramirez and signing him for as much money as we did, didn't mean by any stretch whatsoever we couldn't bring in other better defenders. Simon Peach said so (except when he clearly didn't, that doesn't count).

We also had a bid of more than the Ramirez amount accepted by a club for their CB only for them to pull out at the last minute.
