Come on guys lets not all fight each other on how bad our situation is at the moment and who needs to be sacked and who needs to be brought in, lets just keep singing our teams name and back them untill we are in europe! (give a few weeks im sure the march on the table will be on soon)

Im not going to lie but the micky mouse cup is rubbish only liverpool or manu win it these days. weak team was on show today but it was good to see lee and other players getting a run about!

Every year there are teams (in the same situation as us) have times where they are just stuck in the mud and arnt going anywhere, but do you know what keeps them going? keeps them from going overboard and getting to where they want to be?

hope.

Im not a religious myself but I will sing my heart out at st marys and all the away games I go too.

We are southampton. we. do. what. we. want.

If that means hovering around the relegation zone then bombing up the table later on then so be it! we dont care!

lets back the guys with the badges on and keep on rolling.

COYR.

In Nigel I Trust.

Do you really think players like Lallana, Cork, Schneiderlin, Clyne, Mayuka, Lee, Yoshida and Ramirez will stick around if we get relegated?

And if we are in the bottom 3 in January will we be able to bring in the type of player we need to stay up - it becomes a downward spiral.

I can't see players like Michael Dawson or Matt Phillips joining us in that situation.

Whatever happens we need to get rid of players like De Ridder, Guly, Butterfield, Dickson and Seabourne in January and bring in players that actually give us some strength in depth and might actually be capable of getting us back up. Players like Charlie Austin and Kieran Trippier perhaps.

Will they stick around even if we stay up? Good players used to quite happily ditch us for bigger teams last time we were in the top flight......
