saint_sinner Posted 29 October, 2012 Share Posted 29 October, 2012 Although I went home extremely disappointed again with the result, aside from the football, did anyone see the lad who mustve only been about 10 or 11, won the half time race and when walking back towards the dugout with the pitch announcer flicked the V's at the Spurs fans. Bit sad really

John Boy Saint Posted 29 October, 2012 Share Posted 29 October, 2012 Hmmmmm I wonder if he would have been quite so brave in the 70's & 80's even with crowd fences? Fast reactions from matey on the mike to throw a bucket of water on the situation, his heart must have ceased and breathing stopped for what felt like half an hour as he saw what the nipper did!! i

pingwing Posted 29 October, 2012 Share Posted 29 October, 2012 Am always amused to see middle aged men giving the V or flipping the bird at away fans when its time to leave at 80 mins, might have to start making videos of them... Who films the kids races!??! Brilliant idea! Gutted I missed it this week as they are great when you're too drunk to stand and need someone to cheer at (the girl who couldn't score for Fulham was funny) Miss the kids 2 min games of previous seasons, they were always entertaining. Just a Fan Posted 29 October, 2012 Share Posted 29 October, 2012 Definitely wasn't a 'V' sign. Think he was just being cheeky rather than rude and I doubt the Spurs fans took offence. It made me laugh anyway.

Hatch Posted 30 October, 2012 Share Posted 30 October, 2012 why can't the half time race feature two kids teams made up of both sides. The stewards should pick 4 or 5 of the fattest kids in the away end, to race against ours.
