MOSaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Apparently Boruc was chucked his water bottle at our fans after the Spurs second goal (which he should have done much better with) Not off to the best of starts really, rushed into the side while still in possession of a few extra chins and a bit of a belly, costs us goals in both starts and now this.
Winchester Red Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Didn't think he did an awful lot wrong football-wise today Rather gazza was still in goal though
InvictaSaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 V true. Lots of fans v unhappy about it. Steward took notes after one person hit by the bottle. Boruc didn't do himself any favours with what appeared to be sarcastic clapping.
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 That's what happens when you get on your own players backs. Not excusing him but If your going to dish it out you can't cry about getting a bit back
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Why are our fans doing that to our players though?
Matthew Le God Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 That's what happens when you get on your own players backs. Not excusing him but If your going to dish it out you can't cry about getting a bit back What if the person that was apparently "hit" had nothing to do with it?
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Why are our fans doing that to our players though? Exactly. Football fans amaze me, get on players back and abuse them then when they get a bit back start grizzling tithe stewards.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Hold on, what did the fans do to deserve having a bottle thrown at them? They only booed him after this incedent...
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Hold on' date=' what did the fans do to deserve having a bottle thrown at them? They only booed him after this incedent...[/quote'] probably called him every name under the sun...and got personal..no doubt
Matthew Le God Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Exactly. Football fans amaze me, get on players back and abuse them then when they get a bit back start grizzling tithe stewards. I'll ask again... What if the person that was apparently "hit" had nothing to do with it?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Exactly. Football fans amaze me, get on players back and abuse them then when they get a bit back start grizzling tithe stewards. If you go, support the team. These players aren't trying to lose.
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I'll ask again... What if the person that was apparently "hit" had nothing to do with it? I didn't release I was meant to reply to your post with 30 seconds of you posting it.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I'll ask again... What if the person that was apparently "hit" had nothing to do with it? Isn't that what's known as 'collateral damage'?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I'll ask again... What if the person that was apparently "hit" had nothing to do with it? Have you seen his distribution? What do you think?
latter day saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Isn't that what's known as 'collateral damage'? what would you do if it happened to you ? ball in the face, fair enough but a bottle in the mush would f*ck off anyone
obelisk Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I'm not quite sure why people are getting on his back. It's bad enough playing behind a crap defence and then the twots behind him have a go. All very odd.
skintsaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Didn't think he did an awful lot wrong football-wise today Rather gazza was still in goal though Don't think he done anything wrong during the game, made a great save right at the start. Silly lad if he did throw a bottle into the crowd though. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
TheMidfieldGeneral Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I was sat in the front row.. The helmets behind the goal were effing and blinding at Boruc and he threw his bottle at the advertising boards and clapped sarcastically. If I ws him I'd have jumped over Cantona style. F**king whining c**ts trying to bubble him up now... What a joke.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 what would you do if it happened to you ? ball in the face, fair enough but a bottle in the mush would f*ck off anyone I was being facetious to be fair, bit I wouldn't have been pleased. However, why are people trying to wind up our own players. That's what I'm asking?
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 what would you do if it happened to you ? ball in the face, fair enough but a bottle in the mush would f*ck off anyone he threw the bottle at the boards..no doubt the whinging feckers will make it out something it wasnt
Stepgar Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 If you go, support the team. These players aren't trying to lose. I wouldn't be so sure. Did you see the first half?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I wouldn't be so sure. Did you see the first half? I assume you are being sarcastic and you don't ACTUALLY think they're trying to lose?
DJ_TOAST Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 this happened at Chapel ? maybe he was trying to wake the fans up a bit
latter day saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I was being facetious to be fair, bit I wouldn't have been pleased. However, why are people trying to wind up our own players. That's what I'm asking? he threw the bottle at the boards..no doubt the whinging feckers will make it out something it wasnt as it it hit the boards the ***ts need to shut up then.no idea why their causing a fuss, frustration at the goal maybe ?
Wade Garrett Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I was sat in the front row.. F**king whining c**ts trying to bubble him up now... What a joke. I don't doubt that they are idiots, but Boruc should be concentrating on the game, not what a few prats are saying behind the goal.
aintforever Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 He was probably trying to throw the bottle back into the net and missed.
Crab Lungs Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 That's what happens when you get on your own players backs. Not excusing him but If your going to dish it out you can't cry about getting a bit back 100% correct. Typical of the mongy Saints fans.

The helmets behind the goal were effing and blinding at Boruc and he threw his bottle at the advertising boards and clapped sarcastically. If I ws him I'd have jumped over Cantona style. F**king whining c**ts trying to bubble him up now... What a joke. So it didn't even hit anyone? What's the fuss about. It helmets are going to get on their own players back then I'm all for the players giving them a bit back.
Miltonroader07 Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 If you cant support the team go home and wash the car
channonwindmill Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 He was probably trying to throw the bottle back into the net and missed. I can't believe this thread lasted over 40 minutes without anyone cracking this joke. (Still laughed though)
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Bloody idiots behind the chapel goal today. Jonny come latelys who know nothing about Saints and were there to cause trouble.
aintforever Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 So it didn't even hit anyone? What's the fuss about. It helmets are going to get on their own players back then I'm all for the players giving them a bit back. Yeah, because chucking a bottle at your own fans is really going to help. F*cking ***t IMO. Maybe he should wait until he's had at least one good game before he starts giving a bit back.
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Yeah, because chucking a bottle at your own fans is really going to help. F*cking ***t IMO. Maybe he should wait until he's had at least one good game before he starts giving a bit back. He didn't though did he you prat, as has been said on here he threw it at the advertising boards.
aintforever Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 He didn't though did he you prat, as has been said on here he threw it at the advertising boards. It obviously wound up some of our fans though which isn't the cleverest thing to do. Would hardly expect a f*ckwit like you to understand though.
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Boruc is a good goalkeeper. People should get off his back. Give him a run of games and he will show his class. ****ing whining minnies.
channonwindmill Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 He didn't though did he you prat, as has been said on here he threw it at the advertising boards. If he genuinely aimed at the advertising board and ended up striking a fan with it, then aintforever's joke above is actually quite pertinent, surely?
madruss Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 He didn't though did he you prat, as has been said on here he threw it at the advertising boards. Quite. I was in the chapel today and there was absolutely no reason for our own player to be given verbal abuse. He chucked the bottle lightly against the bottom of the advertising board as a gesture of frustration. It was in no danger of hitting or harming anyone. Can't believe what cretins for 'fans' we have. Abusing a player on his home debut Ffs
andybeal Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Some fans were criticising his performance - he then sarcastically beckoned them to come down and take his place. A couple of blokes stood up and he again waved at them to come down to him. The stewards intervened and he throw his bottle towards the crowd but missed anyone. For the rest of the first half he was making sarcastic waves and comments to the crowd behind him. The blokes a loose cannon and appears on the verge of loosing it to me. Why was Gazzaniga dropped anyway? Can anyone explain this?
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 It obviously wound up some of our fans though which isn't the cleverest thing to do. Would hardly expect a f*ckwit like you to understand though. So he threw his water bottle at the advertising boards probably in frustration at letting a goal in which could go down as an error? The problem is??? Some mugs give him verbals so he sarcastically applauds them. The problem with this is?? If you can't take it don't dish it out. If things like this get you upset then you need to ask yourself if a football stadium is the place for you. *****wit.

If you think a keeper reacting like this is clever then you are dumber than I thought you were, and that is saying something.
S-Clarke Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 I would imagine people are making a mountain out of a molehill here.
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 If you think a keeper reacting like this is clever then you are dumber than I thought you were, and that is saying something. Clearly you can't read the people who were in the chapel who saw th incident comments. So you are as dumb as I thought you were. Which is worrying.
Huffton Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Boruc is a good goalkeeper. Was. Bottlegate aside, from what I've seen of him so far he looks like a shakier version of Bart v Blackpool. Disaster waiting to happen.
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Was. Bottlegate aside, from what I've seen of him so far he looks like a shakier version of Bart v Blackpool. Disaster waiting to happen. Go ahead. judge him on 2 games why don't you.
Turkish Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Go ahead. judge him on 2 games why don't you. His second game since The end of the last season and with only about 3 or 4 weeks training under his belt. He's a good keeper, at a good age. He'll come good once he settles.
aintforever Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Clearly you can't read the people who were in the chapel who saw th incident comments. So you are as dumb as I thought you were. Which is worrying. It's clear what happened. Some nobheads had a pop and he reacted. The clever thing to do would be ignore them and concentrate on keeping goal. Especially considering his comical display at West Ham.

Especially considering his comical display at West Ham. Good on him for giving a bit back. We've got too many helmets inside SMS who get on players backs. It's his second game FFS. The best thing to do is not get on players backs and concentrate on getting behind the team. The divs are the ones like you crying about it. Fair play to the lad.
Restark19 Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Maybe if the tw*ts in Chapel put more energy into supporting the team and making some noise than mugging off our keeper we'd be doing a bit better, instead of sitting there silent for 80% of the game
Saint Lindford Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Boruc reacted to something said from the crowd, started motioning to people he then threw his water bottle towards the crowd - that alone should be condemed. He then continued to sarcastcily clap the fans - bit of a ***** if you ask me. If it had been a fan throwing a bottle onto the pitch in the direction of players they would be hounded and if found banned. Boruc needs to wise up quicky, and I echo the point made above about why Gazza was dropped. Boruc for me is no better.
