West Brom v Saints build up

Cheese on Toast

Recommended Posts

This will be an entertaining open game. We will score, the return of Ramirez will see to that and I would expect Lambert to start up front.

Now, can we avoid leaking in our usual manner?

2-2.

My team:

--------------- Lambert --------------

Lallana -------- Ramirez ------- Mayuka

------- Davis ------ Schneiderlin ------

Fox ----- Yoshida ---- Fonte ---- Clyne

---------------- Boruc ---------------

Very much this.

I remember the halcyon days of this forum when you could abuse someone without recieving such aggressiveness back. Shame on you.

I actually think that in certain situations, Chappers may provide the bite that we need. What do you think?

For me, if Chappers is in the squad it highlights how weak we are. He isn't a Prem player and has no impact now when he does play. To those who say he provides bite I question what that really is? Does "bite" help you score or have any bearing on stopping goals?

As long as those "certain situations" don't require a half decent first touch or a pin point pass to a fellow team member over 5 yards away then I'M WITH YOU.

What I think it'll be:

abDFAekagV.jpg

Bench: Gazza, Jos, Ramirez, Cork, Punch, Jrod, Reeves

Don't think ramirez and cork will go straight into the starting lineup after coming back from injuries, probably come on after an hour played with the scores hopefully still level.

Very tough game away, with WBA having finished top half past 2 seasons (correct me if i'm wrong) Logically it would be a simple 2-0, 3-1 WBA win but seeing as they're on a back of two losses and our players should be up for it having seen the team gone bottom, let's hope we sneak a draw, coyr! :)

Prediction: West Brom 2-2 Saints (Lukkaku, Odemwingie, Lambert, Schneiderlin)

As much as I want Saints to Win tonight I can see it be 3-1 West Brom with Lambert/Lalanna for Saints and as long as They give it a Good go then that

will do me...!!!

Whatever happens tonight We can move on to the Swansea game and fingers crossed Win that one and then Beat QPR the following weekend But We'l See!!!

Also whatever league we are in and whether we Win, Lose or Draw I am Saints Till I Die!!! :D

I am also Fully 100% behind Adkins But if He doesn't get anything tonight at West Brom and against Swansea then it could Unfortunately be over for Him

and that we may need a change as in this league it is all about Results IMHO But We'l See and with Saints You never know which team will turn up too!!!

COYR!!! :D

He was good against Utd in 2010.

If we score as many goals as the number of times you say "but we'll see!"...then WBA are in for a hammering

I think they may get a bit tired playing that long. Is it a Guiness Book of Records attempt?

2 square pegs in round holes - asking for trouble.

How about Cork at LB? Can't be worse than Fox.

Anyway, tonight has 0-0 written all over it.

For the first 5 minutes.

Thats the feeling I woke up with this morning. Odd....blind faith exactly!!

Hmm I'm positive about tonight too for no reason whatsoever. I'm not watching it either as have an exam tomorrow so can't be doing with the stress of watching us!

Not sure if it has been pointed out, and I know it doesn't matter but West Brom haven't ever won a premier league game on a monday (5 draws, 8 defeats). And the they haven't beaten us in the last 7 games in PL.

Spurs hadn't scored at St Mary's until last Sunday. That stat re: WBA unfortunately means nothing. I think we'll draw 2-2.
