Saint_Ash Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 This will be an entertaining open game. We will score, the return of Ramirez will see to that and I would expect Lambert to start up front. Now, can we avoid leaking in our usual manner? 2-2. My team: --------------- Lambert -------------- Lallana -------- Ramirez ------- Mayuka ------- Davis ------ Schneiderlin ------ Fox ----- Yoshida ---- Fonte ---- Clyne ---------------- Boruc --------------- Very much this.
Saint Charlie Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I remember the halcyon days of this forum when you could abuse someone without recieving such aggressiveness back. Shame on you. I actually think that in certain situations, Chappers may provide the bite that we need. What do you think? For me, if Chappers is in the squad it highlights how weak we are. He isn't a Prem player and has no impact now when he does play. To those who say he provides bite I question what that really is? Does "bite" help you score or have any bearing on stopping goals?
notnowcato Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I actually think that in certain situations, Chappers may provide the bite that we need. What do you think? As long as those "certain situations" don't require a half decent first touch or a pin point pass to a fellow team member over 5 yards away then I'M WITH YOU.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Going to stay away from this forum tonight as IF it doesnt go well at the Hawthorns... It will be a bed wetting fest or mass suicide...
max_saints Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 What I think it'll be: Bench: Gazza, Jos, Ramirez, Cork, Punch, Jrod, Reeves Don't think ramirez and cork will go straight into the starting lineup after coming back from injuries, probably come on after an hour played with the scores hopefully still level. Very tough game away, with WBA having finished top half past 2 seasons (correct me if i'm wrong) Logically it would be a simple 2-0, 3-1 WBA win but seeing as they're on a back of two losses and our players should be up for it having seen the team gone bottom, let's hope we sneak a draw, coyr! Prediction: West Brom 2-2 Saints (Lukkaku, Odemwingie, Lambert, Schneiderlin)
Bearsy Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Tickets are cheap for this one, ain't it? £15 according to my WBA mate. Value for money cos when the Saints come to town you is guaranteed GOALS
dannysfc Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 As much as I want Saints to Win tonight I can see it be 3-1 West Brom with Lambert/Lalanna for Saints and as long as They give it a Good go then that will do me...!!! Whatever happens tonight We can move on to the Swansea game and fingers crossed Win that one and then Beat QPR the following weekend But We'l See!!! Also whatever league we are in and whether we Win, Lose or Draw I am Saints Till I Die!!! I am also Fully 100% behind Adkins But if He doesn't get anything tonight at West Brom and against Swansea then it could Unfortunately be over for Him and that we may need a change as in this league it is all about Results IMHO But We'l See and with Saints You never know which team will turn up too!!! COYR!!!
S-Clarke Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I've got a real positive vibe about tonight, no idea why. But I can just picture us clicking all over the pitch tonight. Based on absolutely nothing other than blind faith, but we'll see what happens.

DG Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Stuck a fiver on West Brom, Saints win inevitable.

St Lej Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 As much as I want Saints to Win tonight I can see it be 3-1 West Brom with Lambert/Lalanna for Saints and as long as They give it a Good go then that will do me...!!! COYR!!! If we score as many goals as the number of times you say "but we'll see!"...then WBA are in for a hammering
KK the 2nd Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 All this positivity makes me feel I've found a different forum? Anyway, with all these positive vibes, I'm now also convinced, so much so I've backed a Saints win at 4/1 ... you b@ggers better be right!
Dark Munster Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I think they may get a bit tired playing that long. Is it a Guiness Book of Records attempt? 2 square pegs in round holes - asking for trouble. How about Cork at LB? Can't be worse than Fox. Anyway, tonight has 0-0 written all over it. For the first 5 minutes.
The Kraken Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 How about Cork at LB? Can't be worse than Fox. He can, and he would be.
Georgie Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Thats the feeling I woke up with this morning. Odd....blind faith exactly!! Hmm I'm positive about tonight too for no reason whatsoever. I'm not watching it either as have an exam tomorrow so can't be doing with the stress of watching us!

Dalek2003 Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 http://this11.com/boards/abDFBdcalR.jpg I thought we played in red ?
THEVMAN Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Think we could be going for **** or bust tonight with RL,JR and GR all starting, sounds like a last chance saloon job for NA.
Thedelldays Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Think we could be going for **** or bust tonight with RL,JR and GR all starting, sounds like a last chance saloon job for NA. with lallana too will be absolutely stunned if we dont concede 2 or more
Saint_Randell Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Think we could be going for **** or bust tonight with RL,JR and GR all starting, sounds like a last chance saloon job for NA. Lambert up top, Rodriguez and Lallana out wide, Gaston highest in a midfield 3?
St Lej Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 with lallana too will be absolutely stunned if we dont concede 2 or more Have to say I agree, unfortunately. Will probably need to score 3 just to get a result
ericofarabia Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 My 3 visits to The Hawthorns have all ended 1-1 .... would accept that result but hoping for more. COYS
Liquidshokk Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Sky Sports 1HD Ahhh... that channel I cancelled last week cos its a rip off.... doh.
THEVMAN Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Now im not 100 percent about this info so dont shoot me if im wrong but wouldn't be surprised if its true
ToreSF Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Not sure if it has been pointed out, and I know it doesn't matter but West Brom haven't ever won a premier league game on a monday (5 draws, 8 defeats). And the they haven't beaten us in the last 7 games in PL.
Ed Rooney Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Where's the stream for this one tonight please? First Row probably
Leicestersaint Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 I think Saints will win tonight and surprise a lot of people - I hoep so anyway!
itchen_dan Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Not sure if it has been pointed out, and I know it doesn't matter but West Brom haven't ever won a premier league game on a monday (5 draws, 8 defeats). And the they haven't beaten us in the last 7 games in PL. Spurs hadn't scored at St Mary's until last Sunday. That stat re: WBA unfortunately means nothing. I think we'll draw 2-2.
Dr Who? Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Get Kelvin back in goal please. I do not think we will get anything tonight, but just maybe I will be surprised. Tell you what I would take a boring 0-0!
BILLY Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Get Kelvin back in goal please. I do not think we will get anything tonight, but just maybe I will be surprised. Tell you what I would take a boring 0-0! Kelvin Davis - No ******* way!!

Saintjersey Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Davis, I think!! If this is true then I don't know what the hell Gazza has done wrong. Surely this is destroying his confidence?
Saintjersey Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 @officialsaints: Saints team: Gazzaniga, Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Fox, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana ©, Ram?rez, Lambert, Rodriguez. #saintsfc Ah good to see Gazza back.

saint si Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 So the storm-in-a-teacup Boruc incident has resulted in him being dropped? Or else perhaps he decided that being booed by his own fans was not worth his while? Well done all involved!
Pamplemousse Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 @officialsaints: Saints substitutes: K. Davis (GK), Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Mayuka, Puncheon. #saintsfc There are only six subs there! I presume the officialsaints twitter has omitted someone accidentally.
Saint Garrett Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 @officialsaints: Saints substitutes: K. Davis (GK), Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Mayuka, Puncheon. #saintsfc Missing one.....?
krissyboy31 Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Lee in the squad. Not on the bench though!
Bad Wolf Posted 5 November, 2012 Posted 5 November, 2012 Very happy with that team. Would have maybe started Punch instead of J-Rod but then I guess J did score on Sunday.
